"I know the location is soon to be renovated, but the old school features were a breath of fresh air. I loved the heater. Great place, highly recommend. "
"For an economy stay it was quite nice, clean, comfortable, etc. The bed covering was rather light so I got cold in the night, but that’s just because I didn’t want to turn on the heat in July"
"Well maintained rooms very comfortable surroundings artwork displayed from the University made for a very pleasant addition to our stay. Felt like a private home in many respects. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. "
"What a wonderful overnight stay! Delicious home cooked breakfast and genuine hospitality from Barbara, the owner. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend especially for visitors who enjoy historical homes. "
"Staff was great. Rooms were nice and clean. The only issue I have with the hotel is the people smoke right in front of the entrance and you have to walk through a cloud of smoke at certain times. "

"This was probably the cleanest VRBO that Shirl and I have ever stayed in. The house was beautiful, well decorated, very accommodating and we felt at home. The winter views from the large windows were picturesque and so relaxing. Although we didn't use the outside amenities, the indoor fireplace was warm and inviting. The home was very well stocked from utensils to amenities and written information. We can't wait to return in the warmer weather. We highly recommend this property. "
