"We enjoyed our stay at the Birdshack. There was plenty of room for our group of 20, lots of comfortable seating in 3 different living spaces.There was plenty of room for dining, too. "This is a great home with a wide view of the lake. I really don't think it could get any better. The home was very clean with comfortable furniture. We had not one but two great kitchens to prepare our meals for our group. Everyone in our group loved the comfortable beds. We spent most of our time enjoying the large arrange of arcade games and playing pool. Anthony is the best in answering questions in a timely manner. This home is a 10 plus!!"

"We had a nice weekend stay here while we visited family nearby. Looks are deceiving....when you drive up, the resort looks a bit sad and outdated, but inside is a different story. Our room was squeaky clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee in the breakfast area was terrific! Will stay here again."

"The junior suite was a beautiful large room that is basically a condo! There was a stovetop and combo washer/dryer in the room! One of the best rooms we have stayed in even above the Ritz/Intercontentals! One of the best gift shops I have seen in a hotel. "

The game room was a huge plus . Their house manager wasn’t the kindest to us upon checking in. Once we arrived we found there was a leak in the ceiling in the boat bunk room. Didn’t have the best response from the house manager. However we contacted the host/owner and they were very willing to work with us to try to fix the problem. Things happen and we are very understanding to that and just wanted to be heard about the issues that were found within just stepping into the house. The house is indeed older and could use some extra tlc but even with the issues that arose it wouldn’t stop us from staying there again. "
