"We were up over the Christmas holiday and got snow on Christmas eve for a white Christmas. The cabin was just perfect size. The owners were very accommodating. We travel with a pet and they had no problem with their accommodations either. All and all we had a great experience. 5 stars!"

"Our family stayed during the 2024 Eclipse, and we enjoyed an amazing experience in a beautiful location! Pros: excellent location right on the lake, well-stocked kitchen with relatively sharp knives (unusual for a rental!), great communication with the local agent, easy check-in and check-out. It was actually a bigger space than it looked like in the photos online. Cons: The plumbing is a little funky - the sink and downstairs toilet gurgles when you flush the upstairs toilet. "We used two side chairs and an end table to have all our meals by the fire! Very relaxing reading in the big chair with a hassock.Beautiful sloping field in front, pristine snow. We had an equipment failure with cross country skis, but moved on to snowshoes for a lovely walk. Did one trail in boots alone, but wished we had gone back out with the snowshoes. Interesting ridge walk. We'd definitely go back at other seasons as well, but it was just what we wanted for February!snowshoes. "

"This was the second time I’ve stayed here. The first was last summer with my son for an ATV trip and this latest one I was by myself to visit family, friends and to do some snowmobiling. It’s the perfect place for all these activities. Right on the ATV/snowmobile trails and about 25 minutes from Moosehead Lake. "We did not enjoy our stay at all! We had no idea how far it was off the main road and had to call the property manager and she assured us we were on the right road. We finally found the chain link fence but could not locate the mailbox for the keys. I thought a mailbox would be beside the road. We called the property manager a second time and she did not answer. "*This is my second review of this property* Our second time visiting Knotty Pines and it was just as pleasant as the first experience. Clean cabins, quiet neighborhood, beautiful and very relaxing outdoor space. The details are really thought out with these cabins and the whole property. We ended up getting to meet the property owners in person this time. Greg and Christina are very hospitable and attentive hosts. Also just very kind people in general.
