They checked in regularly to make sure we were more than happy with our stay. The house itself is immaculate and perfect for any gathering. It’s a big house with abundant sleeping arraignments and a kitchen that you could cook thanksgiving dinner in. Can’t say enough good things. "

"This place is beautiful inside and out! The views and beach access are nothing short of incredible. The kitchen inspires you to cook. A variety of basic spices, olive oil, flour, sugar, coffee (basic cooking stuff) were available for our use. I really appreciated the sharp knives! (You can tell I like to cook) The thoughtful modern decor compliment the amazing views you see from the large picture windows throughout this home. This home has automatic blinds. I have decided I need these in my home😁 Overall, I would give this rental my highest recommendation! "

"We loved staying in this home. It was so clean, the beds and furniture were comfortable, and it was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed the view of the water and the walk to the beach. The outdoor deck was great for relaxing. The kitchen was stocked well with paper/plastic goods and spices. We will visit again!"

"My family and I had a wonderful time at this property! We seriously could have just stayed here the entire time and never went anywhere else and would have been perfectly happy. We even saw a porpoise and a couple of harbor seals while sitting out on the deck. We took a couple of day trips to hike around Deception Point and kayak on San Juan Island using the ferry (super convenient!). We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great stay!"

"The inn is an old established property. We have been there prior, and love spending hours on the rocky beach. We bring our own food and use the inn's refrigerator, toaster and microwave. Dishes, knives, forks, bottled water and regular coffee [in the AM] are available. I brought my decaf, and the staff set me up with a separate coffee maker. Room was clean, with a very comfortable bed. The staff was both pleasant and helpful. We never used the hot tub on either trip, and I think it would be nice to have table and chairs for the room decks instead. Trimming the ivy so guests could see the beach from their rooms would be incredible. Updating with a small refrigerator and fan even though it cools down at night, would be a nice gesture. An ice machine somewhere on site would go a long, long way. The upstairs balcony is beautiful with great seating and view. A perfect place for a hot tub and propane firepit in the evenings if either were available. I still love coming here and I hate to see it disappear because of bad reviews. It is a peaceful, quiet getaway, just be prepared to be self-reliant which I've seen with other hotels in the area. Getting to the beach below the property can be a tricky maneuver. I'm in my late 70's however and with a helpful hand made it down just fine. Visit the Iverson Spit Waterfront Preserve for a great day at a sandy beach. Wakeup/light up the inn, make it attractive to old/new guests so we can keep coming back for years to come. "
