"Come to Combate if you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of San Juan. Luichy’s was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The locals are very kind. Beautiful beaches, great food, great scenery. For my fellow birdwatchers - Luichys is only ten minutes from the Cabo Rojo Salt Flats. An ABSOLUTE must see for serious birders. Make sure you come on the weekend when everything is open. If I ever make it back to PR / Cabo...

"Second time at this property: great location and staff, very convenient check out time. Common areas good; hotel was clean. Drawbacks: main one is that the a/c vent hit directly on one of the beds; unless the a/c was turned off the person in that bed (me) froze. Also, if you are light sleeper (like my wife) the noise from the street — although muffled — was loud enough to keep her awake. Comeback— maybe about a 60-70 pct chance, but we will be considering other properties."
