Wonderful house with garden and seaview
We had a perfect stay in the luxury apartment. Fully equiped kitchen; very modern and new furniture. Fantastic view from the apartment and the garden. Two nice restaurants with very good sea food in walking distance.

Relax with a view
We had a wonderful stay here. The view over the river from the apartment and garden is beautiful and we found it very easy relax enjoying it. There is a very nice pavilion in the garden with table and chairs, so we had most meals here. It is a very nice place and there is so much attention paid to details – e.g. there is fine grill – but here also charcoal, lightning blocks, matches where provided and! a nice long barbecue tong. We got many good sightseeing tips from Fernando (speaks excellent English). As other reviews have mentioned, the welcome package with Spanish omelet (homemade, still warm from the oven and after 2 weeks in Spain the best so far with huge margin), bread and a very delicious white wine really starts the stay the best possible way. Highly recommended.

Simplemente perfecto!
Tanto la casa como la comunicación con los propietarios espectaculares, la casa como nueva con una limpieza excelente, los propietarios siempre atentos, viven pegado, pero nunca sentimos la sensación de estar invadidos, al contrario, enloquecí a Javier con todo tipo de consultas que siempre respondió con rapidez y acierto. Totalmente recomendable. Tuvieron el detalle de esperarnos con una tortilla casera buenísima y una botella de vino. Muchas gracias!!!!!

Hemos pasado 6 noches en el alojamiento que para nosotros ha sido perfecto. La casa amplia para 4, la limpieza de 10, no falta detalle, todo como nuevo, y los anfitriones nos dejaron una rica tortilla como detalle de bienvenida . Javier y Benedicta, dos personas encantadoras (gracias por la tortilla de patata y la botella de albariño a nuestra llegada; nos solucionasteis la cena y además buenísima). Su trato empático y amable te facilitan mucho las cosas. En cuanto a la casa, su situación es inmejorble para dominar toda la Costa da Morte. Muy bien cuidada y distribuida; encima de la misma ría con lo que goza de unas vistas increíles. No le falta detalle en cuanto a mobiliario y baños (tema muy importante), además con un sofá en el salón donde pudimos disftutar los 4. Desde aquí animo a Javier a que siga, desde ese maravilloso lugar, haciendo agradable las vacaciones de los demás. Muchas Gracias

Tu casa en la costa da morte
Casa acogedora y luminosa con vistas a la desembocadura del río que permite observar los ciclos de marea que generan bonitos paisajea. La casa está equipada con todo tipo de detalles y es muy confortable. El patio interior con vistas a la ría es de lo mejor que se puede imaginar. Bien ubicada dentro de la costa da morte para moverse a todos los lugares de interés. Todo un detalle la tortilla de bienvenida y el ribeiro fresquito. Altamente recomendable.

Good location, lovely views and spotlessly clean!
Location ideal for to explore the Costa Da Morte and area. Numerous beaches within 30 minutes’ drive. There are walks, cycle rides and historic sites within easy driving. The apartment is fairly new and was probably the cleanest we’ve ever to been to, the owners are obviously meticulous and house-proud! A lovely bottle of wine and Spanish omelette waiting for our arrival. The view across the estuary from the rear windows was a welcome every morning. The twin bedroom is a good size, the double bedroom a bit smaller. Just enough wardrobe/drawer space for a family of four but short on hangers. The kitchen is new and appliances are high standard. A shortage of surface space and only basic utensils are provided so if you want to cook larger family meals you may well have to juggle spatulas! Bathrooms are well appointed. The main ensuite is almost a wet room with a dual mode shower - a welcome luxury. The only downside was that the whole family couldn’t have showers close together as the water tended to run out after about a shower and a half. There is no Wi-Fi although this is a listed amenity. This caused me a problem, I am self-employed and the nature of my work means that I have to check in regularly and deadlines can’t be changed just because I’m on holiday. I had not made alternative arrangements in advance. When we went to log on to the Wi-Fi we couldn’t find it and the internet access amenity had disappeared from the app! The owner said there was no internet access. On the .es HomeAway website it isn’t listed – but it is on the UK, Oz, Austrian and French websites. The owner was extremely helpful and apologetic and went to lengths to sort something out, offering a spare mobile or access at a local café. I didn’t use this in the end as the café bar didn’t open early enough and I got an upgrade package from my mobile phone provider, so I tethered. An important reason for booking this accommodation and was potentially a major inconvenience or extra expense. Clearly a problem with the HomeAway listings process. For us, 2 out of 4 are light sleepers and were woken during the night by heavier commercial vehicles or motorbikes and regularly woken when the road got a bit busier in daylight at 7am. It’s not constant and it’s not exactly a three-lane motorway(!) but it’s on the main coast road so it does get traffic. Despite a few minor glitches, we really enjoyed our week here with comfortable accommodation and hospitality. Happy to recommend.

Unos días inolvidables
Somos dos parejas de amigos españoles y belgas. Hemos estado cuatro días en la casa Mar de Fondo, desde el 12 hasta el 16 de julio de 2018. La casa es preciosa, con habitaciones grandes, muy nueva, bien equipada y sobre todo muy limpia. Es ideal para dos parejas o una familia, ya que tiene dos dormitorios y dos baños completos. El jardín es muy bonito, grande y con unas vistas impresionantes a la ría. Sus propietarios son muy amables. Nos recibieron con una deliciosa tortilla de patatas y una botella de vino blanco de la tierra. El entorno es ideal para pasear y está muy cerca de La Coruña y Santiago de Compostela. Tiene a solo dos kilómetros una de las playas más bonitas que he visto, la playa de El Rebordelo, donde poder disfrutar de un baño fresco y tranquilo. También hay un pueblo marinero, Laxe, que está muy cerca y que hay que visitar para comer y bañarse en su playa de arena blanca y fina. Hemos pasado unos días inolvidables. Como anécdota decir que olvidamos una medalla de oro en uno de los dormitorios y Javier, el propietario, nos la envió a casa rápidamente: todo un detallazo por su parte. En fin, que si están pensando en visitar Galicia, no duden en ir a Cabana de Bergantiños y alojarse en esta maravillosa casa.

Los propietarios muy amables, nada más llegar al apartamento teníamos preparada en la mesa de la cocina una tortilla de patatas, pan y una botella de vino. Servicio excelente por parte de los propietarios. Lo que más nos impresionó fue el jardín con vistas a la ría, espectacular. El apartamento estaba muy bien ubicado, acondicionado y limpio, con dos dormitorios grandes con sus correspondientes cuartos de aseo, la cocina equipada con todos los utensilios y el sofá la verdad, que bastante cómodo. ¡Muchas gracias, volveremos!

Toller Urlaub in schönem Ferienhaus mit phantastischem Meer-Flussblick und sehr schönen Stränden.
Die Vermieter sind einfach grossartig, die Wohnung fast neu und sehr sauber, der Blick von Wohn- und Schlafzimmer auf Meer und Fluss atemberaubend. U nterhalb des Hauses führt ein 4 km langer Paseo de Maritimo. Restaurants im Ort sind auch sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten wunderschöne 14 Urlaubstage in Cabana de Bergantinos und Umgebung mit vielen lohnenden Ausflugszielen. Einfach toll!

Eine Ferienunterkunft der Superlative
Wir hatten das Glück, während unserer Ferien an der wunderschönen Costa de la Muerte, eine perfekte Unterkunft genießen zu können, in der es an nichts fehlte. Das Haus – praktisch neu – bietet eine top moderne Einrichtung, nicht minder stilvoll – vor allem in der Küche perfekt ausgestattet. Da alles so sauber ist, hat man das Gefühl, die Unterkunft neu zu beziehen. Jedwede Ecke ist für die höchste Bequemlichkeit genau ausgenutzt. Endlich eine Ferienunterkunft, in der man gerne die Koffer komplett auspackt und die Wäsche in die Schränke einräumt… Alles wie im eigenen Heim. Die Tage waren leider zu kurz, um länger die tolle Aussicht von der gemütlichen Ecke des Wohnzimmers aus zu genießen. Denn in der Umgebung gibt es für jeden Geschmack soviel zu erkunden und zu besichtigen, dass der ganze Tag ausgefüllt ist. Die Kinder, ebenso wie wir, konnten vom tollen Garten mit seinen Obstbäumen und der kurzen Distanz zum Strand profitieren. Das, was für uns als Familie mit Kindern ideal war, gilt vor allem für Urlauber im Rollstuhl. Denn angefangen mit dem Hauseingang bis hin zum Bad ist das Haus behindertengerecht. Alleine das spricht schon für die Hauseigentümer. Deswegen und wegen der so freundlichen und herzlichen Aufnahme – selbstverständlich auch wegen des so köstlich-leckeren Empfangs – von der Ankunft bis zum Abschied: Einen großen Dank an Benedicta, Javier und Fernando! Eine Ferienunterkunft der Superlative wie es nur wenige gibt!

Belles et enrichissantes vacances en Costa da Morte!
Nous avons reçus un accueil très chaleureux de Fernando et ses parents, toujours attentifs au bien être de leurs locataires et toujours présents pour donner des conseils de visites de leur région. La maison est très propre, agréable par son agencement, elle possède tout le confort moderne et surtout très ressourcante par sa vue fantastique sur la lagune nommée "Bara". Ce fut également un plaisir renouvelé d'acheter aux petits commerçants, boucher (excellent), boulanger, les produits locaux. Des commerçants souriants, faisant généreusement gouter leur produits, d'un abord très sympathiques! Et surtout nous avons apprécié la situation de la maison idéalement placée pour rayonner entre le Nord et le Sud de la Galice et découvrir cette région magnifique par son patrimoine côtier, archéologique et le plus important la gentillesse des Galiciens! Merci encore à Fernando, Javier et Bénédicta!

Estancia ideal
Ha sido el lugar ideal para pasar unos días inolvidables. Una casa realmente acogedora, bonita y cómoda, con todo lujo de detalles y en un precioso y maravilloso entorno que puede observarse desde el mismo salón de la casa. Hemos disfrutado de unos estupendos desayunos y comidas en su bonito jardín. Sus dueños nos han brindado en todo momento su hospitalidad y nos han hecho sentirnos como en casa.
