"From the front desk at check in to checkout everyone was lovely and kind. If you had questions they would happily answer it, they had little cheat sheets of great food, historical locations to check out and great activities for families. This hampton in was very clean and easy to navidate through. "

"Property is on beautiful lake. Everyone working there was very nice. Has a cool bar with live music on first floor. Building is a bit outdated but was pleasantly surprised on view of lake and nightlife which I wasn’t expecting so made up for the buildings age. Breakfast was good also and was included, can’t beat that! Not very crowded. Place is honestly a hidden gem for location and has not great reviews online but not sure why. I would stay here again. "

"This was an amazing stay - everything about the hotel was extremely well done. My daughter ended up feeling sick (sore throat) and the breakfast staff came by with orange juice, fresh fruit, and were just very attentive in making her feel better. That's far and above what almost any other place would even consider doing and it was tremendously appreciated! The room was immaculate. And when they say you're staying in a haunted hotel... well, yes, yes you are (only one property of the hotel, and we booked it because of this). I heard footsteps during the night when nobody was there and some light tapping on the window... seemingly from the inside. It met every expectation we were hoping for and more. If you're not into the haunted thing, they have several other properties/rooms that are just as luxurious and ghoul-free. Next time we stay in the Salem area it'll be at The Salem Inn."
