"Really I'd prefer not to tell you how great this place is so it stays the gem it is. The house has everything, the kitchen is great (even a GF toaster+++) sunny deck, banksia paradise, views to sisters hills, access to walking, the "shop" (a cafe essentially but they have bread n milk). The stars are amazing and the ocean glitters. Please don't come here : )))"

"Delightful house with gorgeous view of the Bass Strait and just a couple of minutes walk down steps to the beach. The house is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could want or need. Extremely quiet location and Seekers cafe is a stone’s throw away - coffee/breakfast/lunch (+ cakes and muffins). Linda (the property manager) is great to deal with. Highly recommended for a quiet holiday or weekend break. "

"My husband and I booked the Penguin beach house as a place for us and our 3 year old daughter to rest after the excitement of crossing on the boat. It was a wonderful place to stay. The heater had been left on for us so when we arrived on a frosty June morning, the house was warm and inviting. The house had a friendly fee and contained everything you could want. The shower was amazing!!"

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the White House and we would have loved to stay longer. The views from the 2nd level are amazing over Boat Harbour beach and the home is so beautifully furnished. Every detail and need has been thought of from a very well equipped kitchen, beach towels, bathroom extras and beautiful quality linen on the comfy beds. We've stayed in many holiday homes over time and my family said on a number of occasions that White House was the best one yet. We highly recommend...

"We arrived to a very nice heated house which was spotless and very welcoming. Once unpack the owner , Terry , arrived to great us and make sure very thing was ok. Very friendly and helpful owner. The house has beach front views and is very roomy with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops which has an IGA , bakery, coffeehouse, information shop ,several restaurants and a pub. We had a meal at the pub , great atmosphere and food. "It is a brand new facility and we had a comfortable stay. Reception was lovely and welcoming. The door to the room is super heavy and someone with mobility issues may struggle to push it open or hold it open to get suitcases in or out. A list of available tv channels would be helpful. Lighting in bathroom over vanity poor especially when trying to put makeup on"

"What an amazing new hotel. We had a lovely welcome and were surpised by our welcome gifts. The beds are so comfortable. I wish I had one at home. The shower was roomy and good pressure. Wonderful amenities and we will be back next time we are in Burnie. "

"Communication was excellent prior to arrival to obtain check-in information. Our apartment clean, spacious and comfortable. Beds were really comfortable and the property was within walking distance to eating and shopping options in the city centre as well as penguin viewing. Bathroom was clean and spacious. We also utilised the laundry facilities while we were there and it was great to have a huge washer and dryer available for free. As the apartment faces the highway it was a bit noisy at times but didn't impact our stay."
