"James is an incredibly gracious host who has truly thought of every detail to make your stay special. From the personalized welcome note to a separate one just for our dog (complete with treats!), we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived.The house is stocked with absolutely everything you could need—and then some. I brought so many things I never even unpacked because James already had it all covered. We drove in through a storm, turning our 5-hour trip into a 7-hour trek, but the moment we stepped inside, it was all worth it.The spacious open floor plan, high cathedral ceilings, and peaceful view of the lake created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The photos truly don’t do this property justice. Our teens loved the board games, and I loved curling up on the couch with a good book—it’s the coziest spot to read and recharge.Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for comfort, beauty, and thoughtful touches that make a stay unforgettable."

"As always our stay was perfect. We use the Milford Motel on the River because its super convenient for us. Its close to our inlaws and close to town. When we had to cancel our last trip the Motel called me to make sure everything was okay, and that nothing major happened. "

"I needed last minute accommodations, and wanted something different than just another motel. This place was PERFECT. Absolutely cozy and comfortable cabin, a lovely outdoor space to relax or stargaze, and a very friendly host who has clearly put care and effort into this space. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a “glamping” type stay, and it was well above my expectations. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer!"

"This little log cabin is like something out of a movie. It is only 10 minutes from town which has everything you need but feels like you are way more peaceful and remote. Being there in December, everything was snow covered and gorgeous. The cabin is so cozy and comfortable; even in December it got very warm and had plenty of warm water. We were only there for a weekend but gladly would have stay longer relaxing and enjoying. The owner was so helpful and responsive. We had some issues with the wi-fi that he had rectified in less than an hour! On the day we were leaving there was a new snowstorm and he had a plow over clearing by 9am. We would love to return for a longer stay!"
