"This is the Gilded Age era architecture. The service was good. The bathrooms are extremely dated - moldy jet tubs. Breakfast was simple but good. You get two options. One of our dates apparently one option was not available. The topping was different so my wife asked for an egg instead. They charged us $1.63 - a bit petty when you don’t have the savory option available. The beds and rooms do need an update. The neighborhood is walkable and decent restaurants nearby. Free parking. "

"Check in was good. Building is getting pretty dated, parking isn't the best because you share the lot with a drug store and the elevators are ridiculously slow. Breakfast (included for free) was okay. Staff were all very friendly. Great location, can walk to multiple non-chain restaurants and a few stores. This is where we always stay when visiting Buffalo and we will continue to do so."

"I stayed at this hotel for a short-term business trip to Buffalo. While the room and hotel location were convenient and generally pleasant, there were a few minor issues. The cleanliness of the room could have been better, as there were sticky spots on the coffee table. Additionally, the shower lacked a place to store toiletries, with no shelf or bin for shampoo and shower gel. A major concern was the sharpness of the inside door handle. My boyfriend cut his finger quite badly on it as we were...

"This was our second time staying here in a month. The room this time was not as clean as prior trips. Staff is nice and the breakfast offered is good. It is in a very convenient area, easy access to the 90 or 190 and close to a lot of dining and shopping. I will say they charge an additional $150 upon check in and that’s outrageous for this level of stay. Takes days for it to fall off. "
