"We decided on a quick get-away to celebrate a birthday. The Historic Powhatan was conveniently located near everything we wanted to do. We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but we were able to check in and also got a great restaurant recommendation from the concierge. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The only complaint was the beds werent as comfortable as we would have liked. I would definitely stay here again."

"Great stay, will certainly choose the area again. Would recommend your general maintenance learn to wipe wet caulk off the surfaces when they re-caulk, however this did not deter from our stay in any way, I only noticed due to my maintenance background. The grounds were clean and tidy, room tidy and comfortable. Great stay overall! Highly recommend. "

"Enjoyed staing at this hotel. Great location - close to both Colonial and Busch Gardens. Complementary breakfast was good, and it was great to have coffee available in the lobby at all times. We've also used the pool and the hot tub and had fun there. The gym is pretty small and could benefit from newer equipment. Overall great stay, and great value."
