"This is a great old school motel. The price is wonderful and the ability to park right in front of the unit is ideal for me. The breakfast is hot and traditional and the coffee is good. The staff are friendly. When I arrived I had a wonderful conversation with another guest in the 60,s style lobby. The location is so convenient: very close to the first exit after crossing the Mario Cuomo bridge going west. The only recommendation I have concerns the warmth of the room is very cold temperatures. The heating unit was working but the room was quite cold; perhaps some additional insulation on the windows would help retain the heat. Also the carpet might benefit with a good eco-friendly replacement. It is still my go-to when I drive up and down the eastern corridor. :)"

"Well, as far as my stay was fantastic, however, I had an issue with a third-party booking and for some reason, I had two bookings for two rooms. I would like to say that the nice person who receive me was very helpful and was able to give me my room. Also, the young lady at checkout was very helpful as well and pleasant was able to adjust the reservation. I still have to deal with just wanna make sure that I get my funds back from the charges on the first booking that was canceled. I have a hard time talking with chat as opposed to a live person to communicate a little clearer."

"If I had a low-slung car, I wouldn't have been able to get to the hotel, the driveway is super steep and it snowed a lot. So here's a tip: if there's a forecast of snow, don't go in a low-slung car."
