We needed a place to stay after Hurricane Helene, as we had no power or water after the storm. We stayed with our dog and had a great night. The only complaint I have is, we were penalized for being locals! They required a 100 deposit and had to inspect the room before check out to get it back. There also was an additional non refundable fee for the dog.

Perfect choice!
Perfect overnight stay. Travel from PA to FL every six weeks. Tried others in the area and this will be our layover in the future. Pet friendly also. ++. A shame that the location is hidden ~ corporate should have selected better. But don't let that deter you from staying.

Property needs to be condemned
Do not stay here. This hotel needs to be condemned. The first room we were given had a horrible mildew and mold smell and had a dehumidifier. We got another room that smelled like fresh paint also with a dehumidifier then found out the AC unit leaked water all over the carpet. The whole area was soaking wet. We were moved to a third room with a dehumidifier that still smelled like mildew and mold. They obviously knew there was a problem since each room had a dehumidifier. There was a bucket at the front desk to catch water leaking from the ceiling and the pool was closed for maintenance. They are clearly not maintaining this property. When we mentioned to the staff that there is clearly a moisture problem they blamed the high humidity in the area. This is the third year we stayed in Kingsland and have never had this problem at other hotels. We will never stay here again.

Don’t stay here! Not recommended
Staff was nice at check in and check out. Breakfast was OK. Lobby looks pretty. Here comes the nightmare. The beds were terrible. Very uncomfortable, mattress were bended and very old. Couldn’t move without sounding like the bed was going to fall off. The kids couldn’t sleep on the sofa bed with all the springs hurting. The room and bathroom had a terrible smell between dirty clothes, sweat, feet. It’s hard to describe and it was hard to breathe. A/C was on 69-70 and the room was still hot. None of us could rest and that was the point of the stay. And to add to the disappointment the pool was closed too.
