« My family and I rented this cottage based on the past reviews and the cottage description. Unfortunately, the cottage was not properly described and was filthy when we arrived. We were assured by the owners that the cottage has been cleaned, but we did send photos of both buildings that proved otherwise. A cleaner was sent a day later but by then, we had already cleaned a bit. The kitchen had a tap that wasn't properly attached, stinky dish cloths, oven mitts with holes, drawers and cupboards...

« If your looking for tranquility this is the place. I suprised my wife for her birthday with a weekend away and some much needed down time. We canoed the pond and walked the trails. The beaver's occasionally swam by and we were visited by the blue jays and the gray jays. Bring your candles for those candle lit evenings, remember no hydro. The location was easy to find and everthing was as the pics show. If needed you can charge your phone with the solar powered charger and signal strength is...

The cottage was the perfect getaway - right on the lake with a beautiful dock, and the cottage had everything you needed to feel right at home. « The property was clean and tidy. They had everything that you would need. Host was great and responses were fast and accommodating. I would recommend it. »

« Older home in reasonably good repair, except the back deck and a lot of squeaky doors. Lots of room and well-equipped. Large creek at the edge of the back yard which is very scenic and possibly a kayak launch but best to check first. Hot tub under the stars is lovely. »
