"We had a wonderful stay at Le Refuge. The location was great for visiting the region and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Everything you would need was thought of, from basic food supplies like spices and oils, to soaps, shampoos, and conditioner. There are board games and books if you need some entertainment, but we were kept busy touring the area, so we didn’t have an opportunity to use them. We would definitely choose this cottage if we visit the area again."

Although we now live in Ontario we grew up in the Eastern Townships. I lived in Bolton Center and then Waterloo for the first 20 years of my life and went to Knowlton Academy Grades 1-4. "The house was clean and beautiful. This is the best-stocked VRBO house we have ever stayed at. They supplied paper products, soap, laundry and dishwasher detergent, spices, etc. That was handy as international travelers. The hosts were exceedingly friendly and polite. We highly recommend staying here!"

"Upon arrival, we did not have the code to get the keys to enter the house, had problems contacting the owner/manager. We wanted to BBQ our first night but there was no propane. Contacted owner again who called the neighbour as propane was locked in the garage. Neighbour was not home. We were told to purchase propane and be reimbursed. It was too late to do so. So no BBQ. We ran short of toilet paper, paper towels and dishwasher pods so bought some, left a few and took the rest home. We were told...
