"The room was fine but the heater didn’t work well. Engineer came and got it to work for a while but it only got the temperature from 64 to 67. We have stayed at this hotel several times and really like it here but not being able to warm the room really affected our comfort. "

"Gave a 4 star because it met all my expectations. The good: great location for excursions anywhere downtown. A block from the cable cars and sub-$20 uber to the wharf. Nice lobby and polite, competent staff. I was overall pleased with the value for the price. The "meh": rooms are a bit dated. For example, TV did not support any streaming or airplay technology so we were unable to watch a movie we wanted to see. We booked a room for 5 which included using a fold out couch.
