"We stay in this hotel at least twice a year when we visit family who live very close by. Lovely setting, large car park. Hotel rooms - some are looking very 'tired', others have been redecorated and very nice but all a good size. Bathrooms clean but could do with an upgrade. Breakfast good. Staff friendly."

"Was staying here for 2 nights as was in a work course. The hotel is a good place to stay with amenities close by. There were a couple of issues. There is no sheltered area for smokers or vapers. The room I was staying in, 169, was quite drafty due to non maintained window. Wasn’t too bad as staff provided a couple of heaters and it sorted it. "We stay every year as part of our Christmas shopping weekend and nothing really changes. It’s a good quality hotel, with great rooms & good amenities. The local is good but there is nothing else around so you’re in it with them in terms of food etc which is a little pricey. I think breakfast could be better. "

"The person who checked us in lacks customer service. Don’t expect someone who is over enthusiastic but a bit better personality would help. I don’t understand why they take the card to pre authorise the check in payment and when when you check out they take the card again. Surely if a card is pre authorised it just takes the payment.
