The Walker River Lodge was a safe, clean and friendly hotel in a small town. There was a nice view of the river out of a sliding glass door. There were two heaters in the room which was great. The staff were super friendly with great suggestions for dinner and breakfast.

Might be the best tiny town hotel I’ve stayed in and I travel 100 days a year. The manager was the most friendly and accommodating hotel manager I ever experienced. We were towing ATV’s and had our pup with us. I felt zero feelings of being a difficult guest, which can be common when you’re opening needs aren’t normal. Great food spots 5 min or less walk away. For an old hotel it’s extremely clean. Everything in the rooms worked properly. We’ll be back!

Very quiet and comfortable. Also, very clean for an older facility. The porches with the Riverview are a very nice bonus. One word of caution: the water in the shower can go from scalding hot to freezing cold with no warning.

The only negative we have comds with a positive...the room was very clean but the lemon smell from the cleaner used was so overpowering! We had to open the windows and turn on the A/C just to ventilatr the room and make it breathable. Aside from this, our stay was wondedul. The pool was warm and the hot tub was hot! Great place to stop and stay a while.

The lodge was very good but we booked for 6 people and there was only 5 sleeping accomodation. On expedia it was indicated 2 rooms with double beds and this was ok, but 1 sofa "double", and this was a single one. Fortunately we found a vacancy room in Ruby Inn motel on the other side of the road, really nice and comfortable. I recommend to Expedia to check with the owner the description of this accomodation, it doesn't reflect reality. it was really crazy to change our hotel arriving close to 6:30pm and finally find vacation in another one at 8:15, a lot of time lost after long day during our west america road trip. Nice room, nice location.
Lovely sized rooms and sofa bed. Shower left a bit to be desired, turning it on was tricky. Location was good. Area outside room was good too, though didn't get time to enjoy it properly. Hot-tub was the size of a thimble and bubbles didn't work so bit of a bummer there. Overall a nice stay, Bridgeport is unique.

The room was clean and charming with a small back deck and view of the walker river. There was the cutest little cottontail bunny hopping around on the lawn. The pool and hot tub were clean and it was the perfect spot to unwind after our long drive. Would absolutely stay here again.
