Relaxing and secluded getaway!
This is the most relaxing and romantic getaway only 45 min from Houston! The cabin is perfect for two people and the bathroom is divine! Have no hesitation about booking this getaway. You'll feel much better after a long weekend!

Perfect Valentine’s Day Getaway
From the minute we arrived we were greeted with a picture perfect view of acres of green grass and trees. We instantly knew that we were in for a great getaway. The accommodations were so thoughtfully and well maintained. We enjoyed being greeted by the horses and we got a chance to meet the host Chuck that was so nice to bring us a goodie bag for our stay. I could go on and on about this property but for now I will just say if you’re thinking of going, book now before the word gets out about this place.

I almost don't want to write a review saying how great this place is for fear of revealing such a special "secret" - BUT the truth is this place is a gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There was not a single detail missed. The place was so nice and private and clean and the owners were so helpful and accommodating. The location for us was perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was spectacular! We will be back.

I couldn’t think of a better place to stay if you’re visiting the Brenham, Navasota, BCS area. It was simply phenomenal. So peaceful, beautiful, and serene. Amenities and host were perfect. I’d come back anytime I could.

We loved out stay at Mustang Creek! The house is beautiful and the view of the pond and property was lovely! Chuck and Debbie are exceptional hosts and the house truly has all we needed! They even left us some treats and eggs which was a wonderful surprise! One of the best VRBO’s that we have ever stayed at and look forward to staying there again!

Our daughter's wedding weekend
This was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. Our daughter was getting married at Deep in the Heart Farm, so this was just the perfect spot for us! It was SO very peaceful and remote.. but yet super close to the venue and not a bad drive into Brenham. Thank you so much for just making our weekend even better!

This is a spectacular place to stay. The home itself is stunning inside and out: the decor and furnishings belong in a magazine. Champagne on arrival, great entertainment system. The 4/5 in for cleaning was very minor and I suspect a lot of it was due to our current dust bowl of a summer! The views are extraordinary, the hot tub is a great place to stargaze. The horses are so awesome, I felt like a little kid getting to feed them some chopped carrots and apple slices. It was soooo hot that we happily stayed in the house most of the time and relaxed and enjoyed the porch in the evenings when the temp dipped below triple digits. Gracious hosts, wonderful everything else. Do NOT miss this one!

Our stay was nothing short of incredible! Chuck is a remarkable and gracious host. The property was beautiful and the amenities were top notch! We enjoyed the wide open views from every room! The property is private, if you don’t count horses! :) also, it’s only a few miles from town if you find the need to venture out! We loved it and will be returning!

Most peaceful place ever
This was our 2nd stay & we just love it here! Our kids do as well! Love the fishing & horses/ donkey. My two year old calls it the horsey house! My kids never want to leave! It’s so peaceful & relaxing. Hot tub is great & house is always clean! Me & my husband would love to come & stay just a weekend get away just the two of us but our kids would be so sad! This place was so wonderful, I can’t stop thinking about when I can return. It’s a short drive from Houston but a totally different world. The hosts were so gracious, kind and responsive. You can absolutely tell that they are thoughtful and they create a fantastic stay. Our favorite touches: scones, fresh eggs, feeding the sweet horses, welcoming champagne, music, robes, the list goes on and on. Bring carrots! The horses love them.

Great country escape
We stayed here for the second time and enjoyed it again. There was wildlife the whole weekend! It was peaceful, quiet, and there was plenty to see such as the Washington on the Brazos state park a few miles away where the Texas Declaration of Independence was founded and signed.

5 Star Resort in the COUNTRY!
This place is incredible! I told my husband all summer I wanted to come here and told him I wanted this little trip for a birthday present! And what a gift it was because it was better then I could have ever imagined! It’s serenity and bliss all in one! A place in the country to actually get away from the day to day! The owners are incredible hosts. The horses are the friendliest I’ve ever seen ate carrots and apples out of my kids hands! They also all have names! The fishing is amazing 2 ponds that are huge my son and daughter caught over 70 fish in our 3 day stay over 20 were big but the fun was in just constantly catching! Now the house is a modern oasis and so many details like the owners leaving farm fresh eggs, fresh baked scones, tea tree shampoo & body wash and coffee! Everything you need to know they have put in a book. The shower is to die for and music comes on , and robes are left and indoor fire place! Truly you feel like you are in a spa with no-one around! Outdoor shower as well as fire pit and hot tub! It was a wonderful experience. The BEST place we have ever stayed! I didn’t even know a place like this existed in Texas! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Thank you Chuck & Debbie for your attention to detail & our amazing modern getaway in the country! Can’t wait to come back in the fall!
