"Came to the area for a week to visit my daughter and her husband, but didn’t want to stay in a hotel. This place was fantastic, 10 miles from where they lived and turned out to be a much better hangout point than their apartment complex. The place was clean, well cared for, and they neat location on the beach. They’re in Freeport. We are coming back to the area next spring, and would love to stay here again."

"The property has perfect access to the beach! We had a great visit for my son's 13th birthday celebration with his friends. They stayed in the bunkroom upstairs which was perfect! The grounds ("yard") were a bit rough, but hurricane Beryl had a lot to do with that I'm sure. We didn't use the yard and were there for the beach so it was fine. The house is well kept and clean, but the front door could use some work. The extra fridge is a bonus! The place was just what we needed!"

"House was clean and well equiped. There is a lot of repair going on in the area from the hurricane, it rained a lot while we were there so we explored the area. Not too far from some fun things. Houston and Galveston Island. The house did have a smoker smell, To moat it probably wasnt that bad but we definitely noticed it. . All in all it was a nice trip. Wish the weather was better. 😞"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coconut cottage! It’s an adorable space that’s so well appointed, nice sharp knives, good pans for cooking, a comfy bed, and a great location. Oscar was a wonderful host, he had lots of helpful suggestions for the area, and when we inquired whether there was a drip coffee maker at the cottage, he offered to buy one so we would have it. We can’t say enough about how wonderful the space is and what great hosts come with!"

"The pictures really don't show how spacious the house is and how close the house is to the water. Wish we could have stayed longer. Really enjoyed watching the sunrise and fishing right in front of the house. Our dogs liked laying on the porch people watching. We have already booked our next stay and can't wait to be back there. "
