Let me tell you about our stay:
We arrived late the day of check-in as it was VERY difficult to find via the address given and they were cleaning the unit, no masks, during a pandemic! Devin told us he was not expecting us until the 6th. It was the 6th! He allowed us to unload our luggage and use the restroom. The place was filthy! We had to run to the store to give them more time. Upon our return I had to clean the kitchen and bathrooms to our standards. There were no kitchen towels and only a few paper towels. When I asked about them he stated I would not need them. Yet I had to rewash the dishes they left in the drying rack. There was literally no room to unpack our stuff. There was junk in the nightstand, kitchen cabinets, the refrigerator was a mess. There was even old med in 1 cupboard and another was filled with old CDs. NO closet to hang things, I even had to clean a shelf to put our food away. The fry pan was so bad we used sauce pans to fry things in. No coffee pot and this was upsetting to my husband. The refrigerator leaked water all week. We were there Super Bowl Sunday but the big beautiful tv only had Netflix. A/C in master bedroom only. BUT there were 3 windows broken out in the master. 2 had hurricane shutters over them and they banged all night long. The master bed was a box spring! I slept one night in another room but the street light shone right in all night. I ended up sleeping on the couch in the master the rest of the week. Ceiling fans... Devin told us the fans in the living room went out but there were no remotes so did he not want us to run the fans??? Oh yeah, they are building another place 10 ft from the house so construction workers were there banging all week. There is no mistaken this place has a gorgeous view but no deck furniture so we pulled the living room furniture to the door and enjoyed the view. In general, I am giving this VRBO 1 star. This place has potential but they need to focus on existing projects... replacing windows, cleaning out personal possessions, restocking with adequate appliances, keeping the ceiling fans running, not falsely advertising amenities, unprofessional cleaning. They are NOT ready for rentals!
