About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

The Beach House

Spacious five bedroom, three bathroom, detached house with large open plan living area, swim spa and hot tub.

The house is ideally positioned on the clifftop, just 0.29 miles walk from the glorious sandy beach at Boscombe Pier and just under 2 miles walk from Bournemouth Pier.

Set over three floors, and recently refurbished in a modern style, this impressive residence is ideally sized and well placed for families and friends wishing to position themselves within a short walk of the beach and local eateries.

The property comprises an impressive open plan living room with full height glass sliding doors that slide back to completely open the living space up to a south facing terrace. The main focal point is the modern and luxurious kitchen with slate worktops and integrated appliances including a gas hob, electric ovens, dishwasher, two large fridge freezers and a separate wine fridge.

Also on the ground floor are an entrance hall, ground floor WC, ground floor double bedroom, children's playroom with TV and DVD player, ground floor study and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Up on the first floor there is a large double bedroom with dressing room, a small double bedroom and a third bedroom which sleeps four people in two single beds and bunk beds. Two large bathrooms with shower cubicles and baths service these bedrooms.

On the second floor, there is a large double bedroom with super king bed, dressing room and balcony looking out over the gardens and to the sea beyond. There is an en-suite bathroom to this bedroom with bath and WC, but please note that due to the size of the house and gravity, the shower doesn't have sufficient pressure to work in this en-suite.

Outside there is parking for two/three cars on the front driveway.

The rear garden is a fantastic size and mainly laid to lawn with a large terrace with swim spa and hot tub, is immediately adjacent to the house. A children's climbing frame is provided for children to use (please note use is at the risk of the guests and children must be supervised at all times around the climbing frame).

Girls break away
We booked a girls trip for 3 nights away and had the best time! Piers was great communicating all the check in information and we was even able to check in a few hours early which was great! We had a relaxing few days which was very well needed as a group of mums. The hot tub and pool was in use rain or shine and we all had a fab time. Thank you for being so accomdating 😊

Beach House Boscombe July 2024
House is huge & very modern however with all the good there were many disappointments for the price paid: No Black sacks for bins as stated 1 dishwasher tablet for 3 nights, 7 people! Charcoal - not enough for 1 BBQ 10 mbps Internet download speed - very bad connection No Fire extinguishers 2nd floor bedroom: cobwebs in top corners above bed / shower door not in line with frame so leaked over bathroom floor / top patio absolutely filthy with debris, feathers & general muck - not swept in months / 1 sun bed on top patio no cushions (2 beds shown in photo) / hot water tap in bathroom sink broken, just spins Inside drawers in bathroom filthy with hairs Control panels for lights downstairs etc - no instructions No sun beds on downstairs patio (despite there being 2 in the photos) Outdoor seating very tired & flimsy Spa Pool & Jacuzzi very dirty with hairs & leaves upon arrival - water was clearly not changed No net provided to remove foliage in pool Swing in children’s area broken No lock on back gate making us feel vulnerable Decking wobbly on first step Decking wobbly at top of steps Nail sticking up in decking steps House exterior needs a good paint & freshen up

The Boscombe Beach House
Pros: We had a great time at the beach house. Great space and lovely pool and jacuzzi, and the owner was very responsive to our needs. Definitely go back and recommend to others. Cons: 1) we had to request for the cleaner to return to clean wine cooler, replace kitchen cleaning items and clean the top bedroom balcony 2) the children's play area is in need of some repair. 3) A parasol for the garden would be a great addition.

Great holiday
10 family members stayed, with a range of ages. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. We particularly loved the hot tub and swim spa and the close proximity to the beach.

Boscombe break
Spacious and attractive in so many ways. On the occasions when I had to contact Piers, he was prompt and helpful in responding. We enjoyed our stay overall and the outdoor facilities were a real attraction. We did, though have some concerns. The property states that it is suitable for 0 to adult. There was, however no high chair or cot for our one year old. Had I not contacted the owners in advance, we would not have known to bring those key items and in our previous experience we had not needed to do so. A second concern was the cleanliness of the property in certain areas. My wife and I spent part of the first full day washing the kitchen floor which, although apparently vaccuum cleaned was, in our view, too dirty for a small child to crawl on. We also spent a couple of hours clearing the garden play equipment of a lot of debris. It's a very good quality resource to provide but had been left in quite a mess. A final smaller point on cleaning: there were hairs and marks on the wall of the first floor shower which was a bit off-putting. When we arrived, the large 'recycling bin was over full from the previous occupants who also had not bagged the rubbish as indicated in the guidance folder. We spent the week waiting for it to be collected - the information provided did not make clear the day this would happen - and so we had nowhere to put our own recycling outside the house. A final concern was the poor quality of hot water pressure which we only discovered on arrival.

Incredible house, swim spa and location!
We stayed for a long weekend as 10 adults to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The house is so close to the beach we spent a whole day there. The downstairs of the house is perfect for entertaining, and all the beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The swim spa and adjoined hot tub are a real bonus in this beautiful sunny weather. We will definitely be back! Loved everything about it.

Great stay in Boscombe
The Beach House is a great place to stay with easy access to the beach. The place is looking a bit dated and could do with some refurbishment and general smartening up.

The Beach House in Boscombe
We had a fantastic time at The Beach House in Boscombe. The weather was absolutely lovely (apart from a little rain on Friday night) and we made the most of the hot tub and swim pool. The bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable but the pièce de rèsistence was the huge kitchen, lounge and dining area with floor to ceiling glass doors out to the garden. The doors were a little stiff but I messaged the host and he phoned me immediately to talk me through the process of opening them. Perfect for families and groups of friends who just want to get away and spend time together. We would love to return and we highly recommend - you will not be disappointed with this house. Also recommend the local Chinese take away called Mr Rice - fabulous food and fast delivery. We ordered twice during our stay.
