The staff is very friendly and accommodating to their guests. It’s been under construction for some time and it might’ve affected the water quality in the bathrooms. Other than that the ocean view is beautiful and I enjoyed my stay

I’m a huge Jimmy Buffett fan and I absolutely love the place. D pool the lodging the food was awesome.

Loved this property/oasis as far as possible from the cruise ships and the crowd. It’s on the north side of the island, in the more “desolate”, less touristy part of the island. The property itself feels like a lush oasis just a minute walk from the water. It’s nice to encounter locals that come to this area to enjoy this last remaining resort free part of the island. The Shak next door offers food and drinks and just a few steps further is a local bar where islanders hang out. Again, the vibe is chill and non-touristy. Hope it stays that way and no other hotels builds there. Loved it.

Very welcoming . . . and accomodating, during our 6-day stay. The owner went the extra mile and loaned us his phone charger and gave us duct tape for a luggage repair. Breakfast never disappointed us-yummy! Especially fond of the warm lights outside our window on the bank. At Home in the Tropics makes you feel like you are home sweet home. Comfy and chill. Dogs were a bonus addition too!
