"Outstanding property, just what we were looking for. Located on scenic bend in Ouachita River which includes still water as well as a gravel shoal that changes to a stretch of rapids. Far bank is a high undeveloped bluff and gives a scenic view and sense of remoteness. The ground was covered in snow and made a postcard scene. We plan to return when the weather warms and experience a different season. Stayed 3 nights."

"This was our second stay at Kate’s Creek Cabin and there is a reason for that. The owners are the nicest people and the cabin/property is perfect. This cabin is the perfect place to retreat, relax, and unwind. We absolutely love the middle of nowhere feel mixed with wildlife and beautiful scenery. Within an hour of being there, we saw 15 deer And lots of other animals. The creek that runs through the property, offers an unbelievable ambiance that forces you relax. "While we couldn't make use of the yard due to rain, sitting inside listening to the rain on the roof was restful and theraputic, giving us a place to recharge from daily life and responsibilities."

"Cabin further out from town than described. Poor cell phone service (in case of emergency). TV tricky to get working since no WiFi but we got it going. No access to exterior water if we had been allowed to have pit fire(burn ban in effect), again in case of emergency. Overall, very nice cabin & enjoyed our dtay"

"We felt very much at home. The firm beds made for a good nights rest after crystal digging. We felt safe behind the locked gate. We enjoyed having a place to recharge and get going again the next day. Plan to be back in the spring."

"Really cute place to stay, surrounded by trees. The inside of the house was nicely decorated and quite clean, with the kitchen having what we needed for an overnight stay. Although we would have liked to sit on the back porch, it was not too clean. Despite that factor, we very much enjoyed the stay. It was a bit difficult to locate the property due to being set back in the trees, however, if you pay attention to the written directions, it should be easier to find. "
