"Had a great time. Heating was effective, The chickens and fresh eggs were fantastic! We were a little surprised by how petite the apartment was but as we were traveling with our dog, this place seemed to be the cheapest dog-friendly rental available, and over all we had a great time! Hosts were incredably friendky as well! "

"Wonderful commune with nature! Needs some maintenance on the railing and backdoor handle ((Allen wrench tightening) and water heater is too small for two people to each have a hot shower ( look into tankless heater which would fit in space)."

Offers of breakfast, drinks for the in-room fridge, suggestions of restaurants, extra towels, and maybe a tour of his music collections :) Walking everywhere in town is easy from here. "The Hi House was completely satisfying in every regard. You're surrounded by an immersive experience of old-growth trees and gentle hills. Animals and nature are yours to view, including distant water vistas. Great location for us to discover all the trails in Inverness and Tomales Bay. Would recommend it to anyone who also loves Mid-Century architecture."

"This is a great property and location. My only issue was that another guest locked me out of the entire property. Found out at 10:30 at night. No real solution other than sleeping in my car in parking lot given required CPAP was inside the room. Didn't get into the hotel until after 2 a.m."

"I wish the steep driveway to the rental and lack of railings at the pool and hot tub was listed. The bed was very high, but they gave us a stool to use. The hosts were lovely people, who truly wanted us to be happy..We were 3 seniors, not as agile in movement as younger people would be..It was warm and clean with a nice changing toom and laundry facilities. .I think some of the shrubs along the pool could be trimmed..it made the path hard to navigate.,but, then again we are older folks ....

"Did we enjoy our stay? Abosutely. It was affordable, convenient and unique. Grounds, outside and patios do need some renovation. But it isn’t a “destination resort” if you want to make that to be the focus of your time. We didn’t. Too much to see and do nearby if you don’t mind driving. Would we visit again? Yes, we like exploring unique and different locations and enjoy the rural setting. The host was OOT during our stay but stayed in contact if needed. He was accommodating to our...
