Really Cool Cabin

One year anniversary trip
This was the perfect little cottage for me and my handsome man to spend our one year anniversary. The only thing I was suggest is maybe putting a cover over the hot tub so if it’s raining, we could still enjoy it.

Great Location, comfortable, and quite.
Loved the cabin and location. The only complaints were the hot tub needing some repair as some of the jets are non functional and all of the head rests are missing. The “waterfront river access” was inaccessible as the grass/weeds were chest high at the access point behind the cabin. This was the only major disappointment as this was the main reason we booked here to take advantage of the Toccoa’s trout fishing. We found a nice spot to spend the days fishing just down the road about 10 minutes.

Great little cabin!
I very much enjoyed my time at this cabin. I liked that it was more modern than other cabins, with great amenities. While you don't get great views, you do get a lot of privacy being tucked away in the trees. I would definitely recommend this cabin to singles or couples.

Fun Blue Ridge Getaway
Cabin was very nice and quite spacious for the 2 of us. It had the things we needed. The deck was very spacious. Path down to the the river and train tracks was somewhat steep. Not an issue as long as you understand that. Distance to surrounding attractions and downtown Blue Ridge was excellent. Definitely will return again.

Cute and Cozy
We loved the design and coziness of the unit. It had all the amenities and comforts of home. I do wish the hot tub was heated prior to our arrival because we didn’t get to use it the entire first evening we were there. Also, the thermostat was set on 55 and it was cold for a while after check in. Overall, we loved our stay, but just wish the unit was a bit more prepared for our arrival.

Great House but Electrical Issues
We booked the cabin for a weekend getaway for my wife and me. During the second day the cabin started having partial power outages not related to weather or anything we did. Randomly throughout the day the power to 90% of the house would go off, including all the appliances, water heater, and HVAC. Only a few lights and outlets remained working. No breakers were being tripped in the box, it would just go off. I'm not sure what the issue was, but definitely some kind of wiring problem in the house. Late that night with no heat we called the management company and they were able to move us to another cabin. The other cabin was fine and thankful we got moved, but not what we originally wanted. I would not recommend this cabin at all unless the electrical issues are resolved. Otherwise the cabin is very nice, except the hut tub is not private. It is the first thing you see when you pull in the driveway and visible from the road.

Great stay
First the cons. I tried to contact through the VRBO app about a Keurig with no response after 3 hours. I did get answers from a call and a text fairly prompt. There was no grate in the charcoal grill. Glad I changed my mind and left the chicken at home. The outlets in the kitchen do not work. Take the coffee pot to the bathroom. The hot tub head rest are missing. The TV does not have cable/satellite per VRBO (although there is a cable running to the TV) so take a fire stick or equivalent with you. The door code is 10 digits. Now the pros. The lot/view/location is amazing. Love a gravel road. Really I do. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Updated. VERY clean. The bathroom and bedroom are large and nice. King size bed and large walk-in shower. The second bedroom is good for kids but beware if you have two couples. You have to walk through the master to get to room two or go outside and around. The kitchen has most everything you need. The living room has good seating and large windows to see out. The outdoor amenities are nice. Very large deck with steps to trail to the Toccoa. Yes it’s a hill but easily walkable. The fire ring area is nice. It was too cold and no wood so we didn’t use it. The hot tub is large and clean. We had a great stay! The minor issues won’t keep us away. They should be easy fixes. I highly recommend.
