"The loft apartment was spacious and comfortable but some aspects not too functional eg there is ample clothes hanging space but no shelves in the wardrobe; the kitchen cupboard and micro-wave are so high that only a very tall person can reach them; the power outlet in the kitchen in so high on the wall that the kettle cord was not long enough to reach it. Small details that, if corrected, would make the facility more readily functional as well as pleasant to stay in. The shower in the high spa bath is somewhat difficult for older people like us to access. Two very nice balconies made up for these deficits and the stay was overall very enjoyable, with friendly and helpful staff and a most beautiful surroundings within walking distance of the Wentworth Falls and lookout. "

"We spent 2 nights with another couple at the Hydro and loved it! They've updated an iconic property tastefully and kept as many Art Deco features as possible. The staff is excellent. If you're lucky enough to catch the Manager Marcus when he's not busy, he can share some incredibly interest history about the property. He seems to always be on site making sure things are running smoothly. 2 of us had the buffet breakfast which had plenty of choice and was replenished while we were there. Coffee to taste is ordered separately. The view from the restaurants and bar are stunning, and the bartender from Brisbane entertaining. I hope we get a chance to return! This was a return visit for our friends who have been 3 times in the past. They were impressed with the renovations. Would definitely return! There is road construction currently in front of the building, but it didn't interupt our stay. "

"We arrived 10am in the morning, the reception was very helpful to allow us checking in straight away. This saved us rushing back from Lithgow before 5pm to complete our check in. The bed, kitchen and bathroom were clean."

"Everything worked as it should have. I didn't try the air conditioning. The bed was comfortable. The check in was easy, the receptionist knew I was arriving late and that was not a problem. The motel was a walkable distance from town. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again if the price was right."
