"The external appearance is very dated. However inside it is charming. Lots of original features particularly in the library and games rooms upstairs. The inside courtyard area has a charm of its own. Our room was an internal room with no external air (windows opened into internal courtyard) and so we asked for a room with external windows which we could move to. Essential given the area was experiencing a heat wave! Breakfast excellent and plentiful. "

It is private, though not completely soundproof as we could hear the tenants in the main building from time to time.
