Took the guided boat tour to Gozo and Blue Lagoon. Gozo was okay but Blue Lagoon was only an hour and so crowded and difficult to access. Not worth it!

Beautiful but very crowded beach areas in July. The speedboat ride and drive through the small caves was amazing!

Still nice to swim there in November, small sandy beach area is packed with people but plenty of space on the rocky outcrops to put your things. Also, there is a second access point to the lagoon with sun chairs if you walk a few minutes from where the boats drop you off, not as many people set up there, if you want some more space.

Take the ferry for 10 euro round trip from the port, provides you the freedom to come and go as you wish.
