"The cabin is perfect in every way - just off the highway and nestled in the woods but not isolated. Very clean with comfortable bedding. We cooked all our meals in and the kitchen is well stocked. Stone fireplace and log interior makes it very cozy. My daughter and I had a great time hiking, especially Wapta falls. We’d come back to this cabin again in a heartbeat. "

"Better late than never. We stayed at this property in early July and it is a beautiful property. We had 3 families gather to celebrate a special anniversary. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of dishes, utensils, frying pans, etc. Table was big enough to have all 8 of us sitting together. Beautiful deck, sun or shade if you want. Major heat event while we were there, lots of time spent at the river. Beds were comfortable and it was nice to have lots of bathrooms with 8 in our party. ...

"This is a nice well maintained lodge in a beautiful albeit remote location. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is thoughtfully furnished and decorated. The one thing that my family sorely missed was a washer/dryer. I think that for a house of this size in a remote location, a laundry would be a much needed addition."

"The cabin was very cozy set on a beautiful property with mountain views. It was a very short drive to town as well as easy access to three national parks. The host was so helpful with local information as well as allowing us to store our bikes in her shed. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore the area around Golden."

"This was my second stay at Chancellor Peak. We stayed in chalet #14 which is private with an amazing view of the Peak and the surrounding nature. The chalet complex is located right at the Kootenay River. The area is very quiet and there are bears as well. A black bear came looking for food around the chalets a couple of nights. Overall a great place to stay and good value."
