Hartland Hideaway is a spacious lodge with stylish decor in a tucked away location. The property sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms. Dogs welcome (maximum of 2) and there are plenty of lovely walks from the lodge. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom (with bath and shower) and there are two further twin bedrooms and a shower room. We know that good sleep is key to a restful holiday so our beds are all comfortable and have hotel-quality 300 thread count bed linen.
The living area is light and airy with a vaulted ceiling and sliding doors to a decked terrace. There is smart open plan fitted kitchen with hob and oven with extractor hood a fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Should you have a rainy day you can relax in front of the TV on the comfortable squashy sofas and enjoy Sky or a DVD, or have fun playing a board game. The lodge is cosy and warm and perfect for a winter break as well as for summer holidays. Please note there is currently no Wi-fi due to the rural location and limited mobile phone reception.
There is outdoor seating on the deck for six people so you can enjoy a meal and drinks al-fresco. Please do not use BBQ at the lodge or anywhere on the site.
Hartland Hideaway lodge is situated in peaceful surroundings in the Hartland Forest, near to Clovelly and the beautiful beaches and spectacular coastline of North Devon and Cornwall. The lodge is in on the edge of the site with views across farmland and close to a pretty path through a wooded area and stream. The quiet and peaceful setting of the lodge make it a great place to relax and escape modern life.
The North Devon and Cornwall coast gives access to wonderful scenery and beautiful beaches. It has excellent access to many major locations including, Clovelly, Lundy Island, Hartland Point, Hartland Quay, Exmoor, Bodmin and Dartmoor, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Helligan, Padstow, Boscastle For great family fun visit The Big Sheep Nr Bideford and the Milkyway/Wakepark on the A39 near Clovelly.
Two dogs are welcome, but not on the furniture or bedrooms please.
There is NO access to either golf or fishing.
Please note, the lodge sits on an environmentally friendly site with a reed bed soakaway; no harsh chemicals are to be used.
