Fraudulent Advertising
The amenities advertised about the hotel certainly does not meet the standard for the type of facility it is advertised to be. Furthermore, this facility is advertised as a resort, but hardly meets the standard of a bed and breakfast. The swimming pool was empty, Wi-Fi service was only partially available (perhaps about 50% of the time), and failure to respect the do not disturb sign outside the door. The structural state of the facility is an incomplete off the beaten path concept of a resort in need of a total remake of a resort.

The resort needs some TLC, but the staff more than made up for it. Located in the rain forest area, we were quite comfortable and taken care of nicely. Super Palms helped us with all the tours and adventures we wished to do in this area.

Great Hosts
We were immediately greeted by the hosts upon parking they brought us beverages to the pool right away and got dinner started for us, which was good seafood and very mildly priced. Very small and private feeling with great hosts (small family run.) The pool area needs work, there looks like there were plans for more building that never got finished. They have a little nature walk set up with the names of all of the trees. The description mentions a water park which is a pool close by that is no longer open. I would stay again if I was in the area. It is right off the highway on the way to Belize City. Kind of hard to find because it is off the road and has a little faded sign. I would recommend, looking on the map before you leave. Nice little get away.

Worst Hotel in my entire life.
The worst hotel stay off my life. I was the only guest there and I know why. Nothing worked. The yard and grounds was a mess, broken glass, tiles an old wrecked Van was what greated me upon arrival. NO TV, all the lights were off throughout the hotel. They said electricity was expensive. I could go on but anyone who reads this gets the idea. Give it a huge miss.

Fantastic staff, funny construction
The location was great for our stay. We didn't want to be right in the center of Belmopan, seemed a little unsafe. But the location was great, just outside town and secluded. I would recommended having your own vehicle so you can get around easily and do all the fun things! The Belize zoo is not far, also there's cave tubing and ATV riding thru the jungle. You can get to the inland blue hole and St. Herman's cave in about half an hour, and it only cost $8BZ, cheaper than having a resort take you. The staff was very attentive and took really good care of us. It was off season so there was only a few people working, and the restaurant was out of a lot of things, but they worked really hard to get us what we wanted. The construction of the grounds and rooms seems a bit unfinished. There's no pool, they say it's under construction, but doesn't seem like anythings happening with that. Also in the room, the bathroom door wouldn't close. They built the frame too small to fit the door and didn't bother to fix it! Overall it was clean and comfy and had air conditioning so it was good enough for us!

Tacky rooms at end of dirt road
The dirt road to this place is off a main highway - identified by a tiny sign that everyone missed. Drove 15 miles out of our way. Furnishings are from someone's grandmother's attic. In an attempt to appear "upscale" the result is tacky. The restaurant serves what they have - not necessarily what you want. Rooms are crowded and dank. The place is about three miles from town on a trafficked highway. Not recommended. There are better places in Belmopan City - like Bullfrog Inn.

Hotel was nice but simply.
The hotel was nice but simple. It was isolated, far from everything. Did not have our own transportation and we had to depend on the hotels transportation, which was expensive. The hotel has very nice staff. The activities we did were done through the hotel because we were far from everything and they were too expensive. We paid for all the activities in US dollars.

Remote accommodation
This hotel (not a resort) is distant from Belmopan. The shuttle provided cost $10 U.S. each time used, which is expensive when the cost of the room is considered.

Super Palm has potential
The staff was incredibly friendly, but the hotel is a mess. The room was half painted, the bathroom was open to the room, there was no lamps, the bathroom was moldy. In the states you would have not paid more than $30.00 a night because it was so sketchy. Simple things could help so much. Paint is cheap and enclosing the bathroom, a lamp or two would have gone a long way to make it look better. The staff was so nice, it made it bearable, but I would not have stayed long term and we questioned whether or not to stay at all, when we saw the place.

Super Palm Resort is a trash. Please don't reserved on this hotel. It is a warning!!!! The previous reviews from the past guests are true. There is no television and free internet in the room. The location of this hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you can only see tall grasses on the road leading to the hotel. I can rate this hotel as 1 star hotel.

Not What They Seem to Be....
My family and I traveled to Belize for a family vacation, and to celebrate our 6yr olds birthday. When we checked into this "hotel", the room was filthy, the tub had hair, and fungus. The wireless internet that was promised didn't work,. The view was outside the bathroom, and was all discarded trash, and buckets. The pool was no where to be seen, it was located on another property, and on a very hot, and humid day, we were told the pool was out of commission and no one could swim. What you see on the website is not what you get! Very upsetting! Do Not Stay at Super Palm Resort!...it's not a resort!

Very Nice People
The hotel staff was extremely caring and attentive. The experience of the hotel and its facilities, however, was less than ideal. The room seemed unfinished, unclean (though probably well cleaned by the staff, this problem was unavoidable due to insects in the area and building materials used). The restaurant was mediocre- dinner was good but over expensive while the breakfast was not the best. It was very lonely- we happened to be the only guests at the time. I'm sure that the staff did all they could to make our experience the most comfortable possible- however, I would not recommend it or stay there again.

A Home Away From Home
We immensely enjoyed ourselves at this hotel. Even though there was no cable TV, the atmosphere and the hosts more than made up for it! Kathy and her helper, Kibert, were the most gracious, kind hosts anyone could ask for! After our day of sightseeing, they would sit and chat with us like we were family. We even received a tour of the grounds and an explanation of the fruit trees. The adjoining restaurant, Arch Seafood Restaurant, had a very nice menu. Their breakfast with their homegrown fruits was over the top! We would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Belmopan, Belize!

NOT a 3-STAR Hotel
We spent two nights at the Super Palm. The manager and family were very gracious after we resolved the issue of them wanting to charge us the taxes to stay. We informed them that we had paid the rooms in full through Hotels.Com and were not about to pay more. The hotel definitely DID NOT meet a 3-star standard. (We took pictures to document these comments.) 1. The rooms did not have closets. There were pegs on the walls. 2. The only windows were in the bathroom. 3. There were no doors separating the bedroom from the bathroom. 4. One room had mold in the shower/tub. 5. The other room had a new tub but the manufacturer’s labels were still on and it had not been painted to cover up the construction. 6. There was no hot water both nights. In the morning there was hot water for a period of time. During the day, the water was shut off. 7. There was no river close by and no defined path to get there. From looking at the website pictures, there should have been a covered patio and food and drinks would be served. 8. The only TV that worked was in the outdoor lobby. It sat on a chair. The family running the place watched movies on this TV. 9. There were sheets that were used as covers for the two couches in the lobby. 10. The renovation is not finished. 11. The signs leading us to this location were faded and falling down. We would not recommend this hotel at the present time.

Perfect Hosts, perfect Belize interior hub
This was the perfect place for us to stay to enjoy the activities, sites and culture of Belize. Kathy and Robert were the perfect hosts and arranged inexpensive and private guides for all our different trips for the Mayan Ruins, Cave Tubing, horseback riding, spa services, etc. The best part was that they know when the tour buses go through, so they scheduled around the crowds and we basically had sites and adventures all to ourselves with a private guide. Kathy also provides the absolutely best meals, we had been dining out on the rest of our vacation, but once we dined at the Resort, we ate every meal there. Fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, belizian dishes galore, and everyone of them a treat! We had been staying in San Pedro at a Villa, then went to the interior, then back to San Pedro. We had a very hard time leaving Belmopan and the Resort there, it was the highlight of our trip. For a truly going native experience with unbelievable pampering, you have to check this place out. We felt like royality the entire time we were there. We will be back!

The super palms resort is a DUMP not super not a resort not in center of belnopan
After traveling to "suprer plams resort" in the middle of a rain storm, we encountered their rock/dirt road being washed over by a creek. We are thankful we were driving a four wheel drive vehicle. The "resort building" had sheets of tin stacked at one end and what appeared to be construction on the building. The place was dark, the electic power had been off for some time the owner stated. She said it will be on later. She showed us the room by flashlight, you could not tell much about the room except there was no door for the bathroom. The dining area was a screened in area that looked like an animal pen with a floor wet from the rain. No power, no AC, no food, what am I to do? Hope for the power to come on, hope the food was not spoiled, hope the road would not wash out and I would be stuck in this dark ,wet "resort". I think not.

Don't stay here!
The hotel was aweful! There was no swimming pool, don't be fooled by the cable TV included because there is NO t.v. in the whole place, they have ants that invade your luggage, and the food and drink prices are CRAZY! We were charged $25.00 US for ONE small piece of snapper, rice and beans, and salad. At any other place in Belize that same meal would be about $10.00 US. We got lobster for less than she was charging for a child's portion of snapper. We were also charged $87.50 for an $8.00 bottle of black berry wine that was susposed to be the owner's treat to toast our wedding and $70.00 for chips and salsa that were offered as a snack until she got dinner ready. Save yourself the aggrevation. The owner gets you out in the middle of no where in a "country house" that is NOT a resort and attempts to charge you until you have nothing left. Also BEWARE she attempts to collect an additional 14% in "taxes and service charges" on a pre-paid room! Oh yeah, and you may or may not get a private bathroom because some of the rooms share a bath. The A/C was horrible. Some of them didn't have A/C and in the other rooms the A/C barely blew hot air. There are plenty of other nice places to stay in Belize, don't waste your time at this DUMP! The owner has no concept of proper business; she only cares about making up charges and collecting money. No concept of customer service at all.
