This is a beautiful log cabin, nestled among the trees and plenty of privacy. It is fully furnished with comfortable beds. The kitchen is also fully equipped with all the cooking items you might need. The river is just a short walk from the cabin. The fishing is outstanding. Wonderful Quiet Mountain get away
We had a lovely time at your cabin. Thanks so much for sharing it with us. I was up in the Poudre Canyon for my son's wedding at the Mishawaka & the cabin was a life saver. We really enjoyed the decks - both front & back of the house.

Family Reunion
The place was perfect size and great location. We made beautiful memories. We even had a visitor from a wild turkey. The manager was super easy to work with. We are very familiar with the area since some of our family live in Rustic, Colorado. The house itself was clean but we were surprised to find the surrounding area heavily infested with bugs. Overall, the experience was just what we needed.

LOVED IT!
My family and I rented this cabin for my birthday and we had such a good time! It was easy to find and such a beautiful drive up the canyon. I was amazed at how cozy and charming it was, exactly what I wanted. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals and lots of places to hang out and relax. The cabin was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. My favorite was sitting out on the covered porch and roasting marshmallows! This is definitely a place we will rent again.

Very nice
We gathered for a reunion and the house was a great place for us to spread out a bit. Kitchen worked out well, it is well stocked. Plenty of bed options. Property is unique, very clean and well kept. Owner is very accessible via email or text. The only negative, we could not get the ceiling fan to work with its remote control. It does get warm on the main floor in the summer. We have been coming to this beautiful area for years. Thank you for letting us stay.

Mountain Home Away from Home
This cabin is located along one of the most beautiful settings in the Poudre River canyon. My family (6 adults and 2 pre-teens) were very comfortable here the entire week. The owners have put a lot into decorative touches and providing all the comforts of home. We were hoping to "get away" from it all --including the crowds at RMNP--and I think we did really well at this location! If you are looking for a place near restaurants and shopping, this might not be your first choice, as there are not many options nearby (Ft. Collins is only a 45 min. drive though). However, if you are looking for a perfect mountain escape in a lovely cabin near postcard-type mountains, rivers, and wildlife with easy access to hiking trials, fishing, whitewater rafting, and photography--look no further! Sitting around the fire pit, roasting marsh mellows in the back yard was a great way to end our evenings after all the adventures of the day. I'm fairly certain that none of us wanted to leave. This is a trip that we would like to repeat for sure!

Fabulous Mountain Cabin!
My family stayed in this lovely cabin while we were in the mountains for a wedding. We wish we could have had more time to relax in this exquisitely appointed rustic lodge. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is spectacular. Even though the interior is superb, we were all drawn to the shady upper porch/deck with the comfortable seating. I made a new batch of nectar for the hummingbirds, and placed the feeder on a corner of the railing for hours of entertainment and hummingbird drama. The 2 bedrooms and third bunk room (sleeps 4) naturally accommodate 2 families with kids, or couples and single friends. The property is unique from most along the Cache La Poudre river in that it is across the river from route 14, and is quiet and secluded, with the Glen Echo Mountain amenities a short walk or drive away ... nice to have gas, some groceries, and a restaurant within reach. What a wonderful way for us to reconnect with Colorado, where we used to live. We will absolutely return for a longer stay.

Disappointed for the price
When we first arrived the property looked fine. Once we were inside we did notice lights flickering, and an inordinate amount of bugs. The flickering lights led us to leave many of them off most of the time. The advertised grill was inoperable and extremely dirty. Were were unable to use it even though that was a selling point for the property. The kitchen sink faucet had terrible water pressure for the first few days and stopped working all together on our last night. When we contacted the owner, his suggestions were to have us do the repairs. On a vacation is not typically where i am wanting to do maintenance on someone else's property. Overall we were extremely disappointed for the price we paid. I know there are not many rentals are available around this area, so the bar is low, but we have stayed in a number of cabins and this one needs work. Not to mention the fact we do not expect to do repairs on the property we rent.

Great house & location - terrible host
This house is wonderful and the location is beautiful. The property owner / host however is rude, unhelpful, and conniving. Upon arrival there is only a single lockbox (real estate style). We were have trouble working the release mechanism on the lockbox (the reset code button was sticking way down in the inset hole and not releasing) - contacted the host for advice and he effectively told me “if you all are too dumb to work a lockbox nothing I can’t help you with”. Water pressure was extremely low making washing dishes or using the dishwasher nearly impossible. We called the host to tell him that and he indicated that this time of year the well water is low and nothing he can do about it. I told him it would make doing the dishes difficult- “oh I don’t care” was his response. We spent the last day of our vacation cleaning the house and heating up pots of water painstaking gathered slowly from the trickle of water on the stove so we could clean the dishes. The owner then had the audacity to charge and additional cleaning fee after - and I’m telling you this house was not messy or dirty. Reading reviews (which unfortunately I didn’t before hand ) - that is exactly this owners MO. We will be fighting the additional charge to the end of our days and I hope future guests read these reviews.

Hidden gem in the woods
Pros: -beautiful woodsy cabin -comfortable, spacious for family -well stocked kitchen, supplies (towels, etc..) -affordable for family -host was nice and always answered my questions Cons: -more instructions for TVs/appliances(dishwasher) -maybe more curtains, screens? -grill didn’t work -water pressure not good but maybe is just due to area

Nice Cabin
The cabin is awesome but the water pressure was very low. We found ourselves rotating showers so that we didn’t run out of water. And the location is very remote. The grocery store was 30 minutes away, only 1 restaurant nearby and 1 restaurant 25 minutes away and the nearest skiing was 2.5 hours away. So nothing much for the kids to do. And the roads are extremely windy and wrap around the mountains! Very scary for us coming from Florida! If you’re looking for a nice tucked away vacation for just hanging outdoors then this is an awesome place!!! Overall it was a great true log cabin experience and would have been better without spoiled kids complaining they are bored.
