"This hotel sparkles with cleanliness and modern appeal. It is a relatively new facility for Melbourne but highly recommended for any travel or stay. Breakfast was great and did I mention spotless. The manager, Carlos, was extremely accommodating and the hotel is pet friendly, which is a big plus."

"The property was lovely and the staff was attentive. Overall an excellent stay. I did have an issue with the hot water and overheard other guests sting the same. So it may just be the age of the building, but you hav e to turn the water on and wait a good few minutes before it starts to heat. Other than that it was great "

"Loved the hotel Melby in Melbourne! Only thing if any that could use improvement was water pressure to shower. Otherwise, it’s awesome and I will be going back. They have a beautiful rooftop restaurant lounge area with spectacular view and the BEST coffee in town! My mom lives in Melbourne I love the town and Hotel Melby will be where I book my stay when I visit her."

"Every staff person we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean with plenty of space to move around. Bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom was small but clean and suited our needs. Shampoo and conditioner were conveniently mounted in the shower. The only problem we encountered was the shower curtain didn’t stay closed because the curtain rod was missing one mounting screw. We just turned the shower head closer to the wall. The room was quiet and comfortable. All in all a great stay!"
