"2 time staying here for an entire week, 2 year ago the room needed a new mattress, still have same mattress--not comfortable at all, they could offer a better breakfast..their 'hot' breakfast is only waffles and instant oatmeal, they only replace bed linens twice a week now on Monday and Thursday, the location is good for what we like to do in the area which is why we stayed there again this year, next year we may switch to another hotel in the vicinity. overall we were content with the stay...

"Property was simply outstanding! We can’t say enough about it! We had 9 adults and 11 children - plenty of room for everyone. We gave this trip to our kids/grandkids for Christmas 2024. Great fishing off the dock, pool was secure with only one entry- wonderful when watching littles- plenty of space to play outside, fun water toys, excellent access to Atlantic Ocean across the street, etc. The house was completely stocked and ready for our large group.… there were welcome baskets in the cribs complete with diapers, and baby accessories. I could go on and on!! "

Xanadu: ON.THE.BEACH! Heated pools, Ocean2River, Elevator, Dock,Spa: It's HUGE!

Nothing short of amazing!

"Staying in one of Al's properties never disappoints and our stay in Xanadu was no exception. Al's hosting is simply second to none and the property and amenites were very welcoming. The weather was crappy for the entire week of our stay but we were still able to enjoy worthwhile time together in the house and made many great memories playing games and enjoying the hot tub. The house was scrupulously clean and everything worked and was well maintained. The beach view is amazing at this property and we enjoyed watching the high surf and a few surfers attempting to master the waves. The outdoor area over by the river is really nice and very well stocked with a variety of fun activities. We enjoyed them the last few days when we could finally get out of the house. The fire ring in the cool evening was a lovely gathering spot. We made many great memories and would definitely return to this property again. Thank you Al from all of us! "

Absolutely Amazing Place

"This house literally had everything you needed from cribs to high chairs to dog bowls and beds to water equipment including fishing to even seasoning to cook with. Literally a perfect house for a huge family. The hot tub was excellent. The pool was heated and great. Plenty of life jackets, beach chairs, goggles, towels. This place is the perfect stay. We will return again. Very accommodating and it was just one of the best equipped houses I’ve stayed at on VRBO. Thank you so much for being the perfect hosts. "

"The two properties are in a spectacular location, with amazing views. They were both spotlessly clean and well equipped. One very small issue was handled promptly by the host. The extra touches with all of the added amenities was a nice surprise. The younger kids loved the treasure chests! I have no complaints other than our time there was too short! I will say that, because we had a number of teenagers, the sleeping arrangements worked fine. I’m not sure they would suit an all adult group, but that’s just my preference for privacy. I would definitely book these two properties for a future celebration. Thank you Al for the birthday surprise. "
