"We rented this property for the week of Thanksgiving to celebrate our daughter’s 16th birthday and have a family Thanksgiving meal together. What a lovely week we had! Even the rainy days were nice. The house is comfortable and in such a great location. Beautiful views out of all the windows. "

Driftwood Beachfront Luxury Home Magnificent Ocean Views

Best spot on Popham Beach

"We were looking for a nice weekly stay directly on Popham beach to enjoy some solitude before the family joined us for Thanksgiving. If you've ever walked Popham Beach, you'll recognize this house. It is a beautiful new home with beach front decks and porches. The open floor plan was perfect and you could hear the waves crashing on the beach. Just wonderful. The kitchen is well outfitted, including a countertop french door convection oven, crockpot, large pot for lobsters and all the cooking items you would need. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, nice linens and a washer & dryer. We walked the beach every day and the views and location cannot be beat!"

"Loved staying at Spinneys, got to partake in the cedar sauna and staff was accommodating to an early check in. Next morning we were able to wake up and watch seals play in the water right out front, along with a beautiful sunrise. Will be back!"

Stonehouser Manor Popham Beach late season stay

"We had a very pleasant stay for two nights at the Stonehouse Manor late season at Popham Beach. Our room had a beautiful view of the mouth of the Kennebunk River. In the morning we lay in bed watching the sun rise on the autumn colored hillside by Fort Popham through the large bay window. It was quiet. We strolled the expansive grounds with our coffee admiring the botanical variation particularly the huge old copper beech in front of the manor. A homemade breakfast of Rachels blueberry muffins, fruit, scrambled eggs and sausage made by Rachel's husband and daughter awaited us inside. We walked down the road to Spinney's and onto the beach then walked the beach to the state park and back. The beach was largely empty, with a wind from the west southwest. Clear and sunny. About a 2+ hour relaxing, shell collecting walk. We then drove into Bath and visited the Maine Maritime Museum and had dinner at an excellent Thai restaurant just off Front St. The next morning was pretty much the same except for the hot fresh crisp made from fresh picked honeycrisp apples as an added addition to breakfast. Overall we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend the Stonehouse Manor as a place to stay when visiting Popham Beach, ME."

Driftwood Studio Beachfront cottage right in the Dunes

Perfect location at the beach

"Lovely cottage at the edge of the sand dunes and ocean beyond. Falling asleep to the sound of waves is amazing. Bed was comfortable. Missed having a microwave or some way of heating food but I guess it's a code regulation or something. The fridge is adequate but a bit small. Be prepared to have basic food items that only need a toaster. There is a grill on the deck and you can get creative with that. There are limited restaurants unless you drive into Bath. Just plan accordingly. Truly lovely."

Lovely stay - perfect weather

"Our sojourn at Stone House Manor was peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable! We were a collection of foodies and cooks, and the well stocked kitchen was a tremendous asset, as we ate in almost every night. Rachael was always available to answer questions, and the owner Jane could not have been more helpful. For example, they brought an air mattress that we were able to set up in one of the studies to accommodate our large party. The house was well appointed, and it was truly a home away from home. We reveled and all of the outdoor activities, the great lawn, the lake, and the nearby beaches. All in all, we could not have asked for a better stay!"
