When you sit outside in the courtyard, you feel like you are in your own private mini jungle.The island is laid back, and some things are island time, so be prepared to have a little patience. Alex & Annie willingly answered all my questions about St Kitts, places to visit around the island, and most importantly, places to eat and have fun. The location is perfect! "The hotel is next to Port Zante and all the tourists stores for the cruise ships. Good downtown location. Two minute walk to the Ram's large grocery store. My room was large and all the rooms come with a mini kitchen. It was stocked with dishes, glasses, pans, knives, silverware, electric stove, large fridge. The AC is in the ceiling, quiet, and it kept the room cold. My room faced the main street, Bay Road. But, with the windows closed it was quiet. I think it's the best downtown Basseterre hotel. "
