"Super cute cottage on Sugar Island. This was my first time on the island. We didn’t have much time to explore, but getting to the cottage was easy. Perfect place for my daughter and I for a weekend of hockey in The Soo. (There for sure would’ve been room for the whole family to stay though.) We will be keeping this place in mind for more hockey trips that fall when it’s open! "

"We loved our weekend stay at Sugar Cove. The cabin is super cute and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, including kitchen supplies, cozy blankets, comfortable bedding, and a selection of DVDs for evening movies. "Great location. It was centrally located to the things we wanted to do. Cabin was rustic as advertised. Some maintenance could be done, but it didn't really bother us that much. The price was reasonable for our 7 night stay. We were able to rest comfortably and the view was wonderful!"

"My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!"
