"The hotel has a unique vibe, a mixture of old as the original buildings is around 118 years old, but modern as the rooms are modern and the restaurant is a pleasure to eat in. It is off the noisy Main Street and a short walk to the hot springs. Everything was in excellent condition and Paulo was super helpful in all areas. His English was great which helped us a lot."

"I loved the property. The facilities (pool, spa, garden, restaurant, room) were outstanding. I will return with my family. Only minor comment: properly is not for people with limited mobility as it has multiple hills and steps to get to the room and pool. Thanks a lot for great service."

Me gustaría destacar que es necesario avisar si se lleva carro para reservar un puesto en el parqueo, ya que, una vez guardado, no se puede sacar hasta el día siguiente. "My husband and I stayed here a couple nights on the Baños portion of our Ecuador trip and were really impressed with the service and of course the amazing view! The manager is very helpful and always assisted us bringing things up and down the stairs. There was an assortment of things in the mini bar to purchase which was convenient. The bed is very comfortable and the blinds make it dark enough to sleep in after a night out on the town. The jet tub is wonderful, perfect place to relax and admire the view. Also, you are served homemade breakfast in a basket each morning - super cute. The only down sides are that the power will go out and if it’s after midnight they can’t run the compressors (which makes sense). Also, the hot water is inconsistent. However these inconveniences don’t take away from the overall experience. If I’m ever in Baños again I would certainly stay again. A beautiful and unique experience!"

"I understand the country has blackouts, but the hotel doesn't have a backup power generator; not even for the reception; therefore, there is no lights for the Wi-Fi. The hotel obtains the water from the water well by pump; therefore, because there is no power, there is no water for the toilets, showers, etc. The hydromassage pool water was cold."
