"Everything about the Lynwood House was wonderful! The room was beautiful, with a sitting area and a brand new on suite bathroom. There was a kettle for tea, a hair dryer, and a television. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views from the room are unmatched. Peter was so warm and welcoming, providing a bit of history and directing us to the best places in the town. We'd be glad to return on a future trip!"
"I loved being on the water, with easy parking underneath the hotel. The breakfast was amazing and worth the extra money. We stayed during off season, but I loved opening our window to smell the sea air. I also lo ed the close proximity to the Cobh Heritage Centre and the Titanic Museum. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. "
"Dee checked me in and provided all the info I would need for my stay. Later, I was invited to join a reunion of Dee's friends. We had a lovely evening of conversation, laughs, singing, and music. I felt right at home. "
"Kevin and Craiy are fantastic hosts. Warm and friendly, and helpful. Like all their staff.
Breakfast was partly self-service and partly table service. All excellent. Great choice too.
The room was large, clean and comfortable. Daily service too.
Walking distance to everything, with onsight parking.
Views from the hotel across the harbour are magnificent.
Kevin was helpful and pointed out places to visit nearby or just relax."
"Another amazing stay, use this hotel everytime i visit Cork. Rooms large, clean with all.you would expect, tea, coffee, safe, iron and ironing board. Good wifi.

"We had a lovely stay in Fota, the staff were amazing and the food was amazing. The hotel itself is nice hotel but the spa is a bit underwhelming. My wife had a treatment and rated the treatment as excellent so that part is impressive it the spa facility itself that needs some work."
"This property has been refurbished but some thought needed to be put into the bathroom for 302. You have a hard time finding the soap dispenser. It’s closer to the toilet than the sink.
The cleaning staff do an excellent job & I would stay here again.
Our biggest complaint was the bar area. The food was typical. But the staff seemed inattentive. We were offered free coffee but by the time we found someone to ask for our check we had been there long enough & went to bed. "
"Our overall stay was really good, i was extremely disappointed on checki. In , i paid for a triple room and was given a double room with 1 bed, as there were 3 of us including 15yr old boy when i requested the room i had booked i was told there were no triple rooms left and was given a fold up bed , which was not suitable for the size of the 15yr old"
"Best hotel in Cork city. Welcoming staff, very helpful. Good dining and bar options. Bathrooms were remodelled during pandemic and are holding up well, can’t say the same for the carpeting, which needs to be redone. Gym is subpar for a 5 star hotel, I think that the owner must not be a fitness lover."

"Excellent customer service from staff, who could not have been more attentive and helpful.
Some parts of hotel could do with some refreshing, but overall clean and comfortable and didn’t detract from the visit"

"Check in staff were very pleasant, as were the bar staff. The room was lovely, though the bed was quite soft. Overall a very nice hotel, and would definitely stay again"
