"The hotel is in an ideal location however it needs a complete renovation The rooms are tired and dated and the en-suite was un workable, the shower cubicle door was broken and wouldn’t close. The complementary toiletries were 3 sachets of shampoo which wasn’t adequate for a shower. We feel that the price advertised was extortionate for the facilities we had. We will not be returning or recommend this hotel "

"There is no front desk on site, you have to get your key in a bar next street, despite a parking on site and an «entrance » sign… Also breakfast is served no later than 9:30 and rooms have to be returned by 10am (they accommodate 1or 2h extra) Restaurant closes super early as well… Bathroom was gross… Bed had hair in it!… Overall would def pay the extra bucks for an additional star!"

Dit huis leek onbewoond.(stoffig en vuil) Ik heb rondgevraagd of er een gîte in de buurt was, maar niemand wist ergens van. "We stayed as a group of 16 and had a fabulous week at La Grange. The kids loved the pool, the woods, the cinema room when it was cloudy, and the swing was a big hit. The adults loved the bbq and outdoor seating for dinner and sundowners. The kitchen was really well equipped. There was so much space and the play room / games room had toys and games for all ages. Communication was fab and they helped us with some recommendations of places to go as well. A fab week. "

There is a tiny table with two chairs outside the door and a larger space with garden furniture under a canopy further down the garden, although this would be more comfortable if it could be contrived to put it on level ground. "This is a well equipped new house with en-suite bath/shower rooms to every bedroom. The area is quite beautiful and we enjoyed trips into Bessines-sur-Gartempe, and all the lovely lakes around. We were seven of us for most of the time and there was plenty of room and facilities for us. Although we were happy here and had a wonderful time there were a couple of gripes.
