Location is about 20-30 minute (beautiful!) drive from several cute Catskill towns and Oneonta, where our son was playing baseball. We truly unplugged in this cozy home. Highlight was sitting by a fire enjoying a delicious charcuterie board/wine (go to Good Taste Epicurian Market in Franklin!). Thanks for hosting us!"

"Attended 2024 Cooperstown Baseball tournament at the ALLSTAR VILLAGE fields. We were happy to get away from the fields as we wanted both to be 30 mins away from fields but also peace and beauty. This is a great spot for families attending the tournament, about 30 mins away and lots to entertain younger siblings. "Everything from the cleanliness of the home to the hospitality and responsiveness of the host was exceptional. My family was there to attend a wedding at a local resort. Besides the wedding, we just enjoyed family time and relaxing on the porch. Had we been there longer, we would have spent time at the inviting fire pit. One of the boys spent time fishing at the nearby river. He says the biggest trout he's ever seen got away. A reason to return at a later date?!?! Anyway, the owners...

It is drivable as we used it to cut across to the neighboring town (grew up here and know the area well) and the Finger Lakes Trails. Far enough away to be alone but close to creature comforts. "
