"Given the reviews of the BenMas, I expected something better. The rooms were quite small and very warm without a fan. Many of the outlets didn't work. The food was fair, but limited and the dining room & linens rather run down. Overall, the staff did not seem to be able to solve problems or provide solutions without being pressured to do so (not at all my experience in other Ethiopian hotels). The BenMas is affordable, but I will look for other hotel options the next time I'm in BD"

"So far the hotel is very good, service team is polite and helps on all questions. Restaurant and food is very good. Many mosquitos, but help with spraying and antimosquito nets. So, no problem at all. Price is fair. I was not served the offered free bottle of wine as stated in my booking. Room was not with lake view, as stated in my booking."

"Disappointing that there was no wi-fi, it was loud (loud shop directly across from the hotel), and the room security seemed questionable. It had a great low price so a good place if you need a cheap place to stay with a great location - but not a place I would go to rest and get work done. "

"I had a terrible experience at Grand Resort and SPA on 15 December, 2018. We booked a twin room online using hotels.com. When we arrived at the hotel the twin beds have very hard mattress. We asked for soft mattress but they didn't have one. Instead they gave us a room with King size bed. But we needed two beds and asked for an extra bed. They wouldn't let us have the extra bed without an additional charge of $30 on top of the $73 we paid for the twin bed. Although this is entirely the hotel's...
