"The property and staff were very nice. The houseboat was set up very nice with everything someone could want for a short trip. It is walkable to Publix and sombrero beach (2 miles one way). One downside is you do hear the roosters and the air-conditioning through the thin walls. You are pretty close to your neighboring boats on the deck facing the water. There is ample air conditioning units (3) to keep the unit cool, however likely not a lot of insulation which may be something to consider if...

"It was kind of exciting. the cops showed up on the property and on the next door property to the North, there was a tree of stolen bouys and a stolen crab trap. It was quiet. there was a bit of a flood when it rained but within a day or 2 the water was gone. we had trouble opening the slider on the deck and I think there was moisture in the door. Hopefully we left it pretty clean. we had to be at the airport by 6:30. thank you, it was a wonderful stay. Patty "

"Stayed here for a few nights during a multi stop trip to Florida. The location is perfect for accessing the best of the lower keys. We brought our kayaks and launched right from the property for a great paddle. Easy drive to Bahia Honda for some beach time and more paddling. Also a great jumping off location for spending a nice long day in Key West. Beautiful sunrise from this property as well. Would stay again. "

"Property was amazing! Very clean, plenty of amenities, and an excellent location for us. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of towels and linens. Soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, hair dryer, etc. Pool area was nice and appeared to be heated. We did not use the pool, but dipped our toes. Dock is right out the back door. Canal was under repair during our stay.We had a great time and would highly recommend."

"The view was amazing but the inside needs some work. Soft floors in one of the bedrooms and bathroom. There was one spot that we had to step over to avoid going right thru the floor. Outside furniture was in need of repair, chairs with broken slats. Most of the window blinds were either broken or didn't open at all. Compared to other properties in Venture Out (we had family staying in two other rentals two roads over) this was overpriced compared to the others we saw. "
