"We spent 9 days in this beautiful home in March of 2024. Everything was spotlessly clean and the whole home had been freshly painted. Communication with Antonio was easy and he even made dinner reservations for us at the restaurant down the road. We were able to do several day trips from this location close to Palermo but the best hours were spent on the terrace watching the fishing boats, paddlers, sailboats etc out on the sea. "After checking reviews of this place I was a bit worried but overall we did enjoy our stay. We are family of 4 and stayed 7 nights in bungalow. Accommodation was spacious and clean however very outdated. AC only in the bedroom so kids who were sleeping in living/dining area complained of a heat. This is a sport complex which is available to the public so at the weekends quite busy. But plenty of sun beds so no issue with finding a spot. Big swimming pool, however swimming cups are necessary....

"There was no at the reception desk. The property manager accused me of lying about my kids because there were 2 single beds joined but we were 3 people. My daughter had to sleep in the middle of the 2 beds . The pillows were uncomfortable . There was 1roll of toilet paper. I had to go buy my own. I had no internet service. The kitchen was somewhat clean but you could see their storage room that was messy Nd made kitchen aesthetically unappealing. The night table and desk shelf was dusty ."

"We are a family of 4 and had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The apartment is spacious and located right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring everything by foot. Despite being in such a central location, it was surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep. The host was exceptionally friendly and responsive, providing all the information I needed for a smooth stay, including a list of great local restaurants. Highly recommend this place to anyone...

"Bozena is a great host, the apartment is exactly as described and pictured, and the location can not be better. Bozena met us at the apartment and explained which grocery stores she uses, which restaurants she recommends and using a map described the area location and all the major sites. Every historical site in the city is a short walk from the apartment. We were in Sicily for 2 weeks and took a bus to Catania and a train to Cefalù. The train/bus station is a 30mn walk from the apartment....

"A lovely traditional apartment with a very large spacious living room with a lovely outside seating area with table and chairs. Air con worked efficiently, great to have a washing machine, bed comfortable and again another balcony view. There are a lot of stairs up to apartment although we saw that as a positive way to do some exercise each day. Guiseppe was very communicative when we had questions. The beach is about 15 minutes away along the corniche surrounded by mountains so very pretty...

"The house was lovely and the weather (in Oct) wonderful - temperatures of 25/30 deg C all week! The sliding windows made it easy to step out and enjoy the outside space. Our thanks to Marcello’s wife who baked a delicious cake for us, and for the excellent bottle of wine! We had a delightful stay and were very comfortable in this house. "

Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. " We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel et Des Palmes in Palermo for two weeks in January 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel's rich history as a former castle has been beautifully preserved, and its stunning architecture and decor only added to our enchantment. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming staff. The entire front desk team and concierge were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Special mention must be made of Marina, who introduced us to some of the most authentic and wonderful local Sicilian gems, hidden away from the usual tourist trails. Her insider knowledge and passion for the region were invaluable, and we felt like we experienced the real Sicily thanks to her recommendations and professionalism. Bruno, too, was a huge help, assisting us in finding our way around the city and providing us with expert advice. His kindness and expertise made a significant difference to our stay, and we're so grateful to have had him as a resource. The cleanliness of the room was beyond our expectations, and the breakfast in the morning was complete and nutritional. What struck us most, however, was the hotel's reputation among the locals. Every time we mentioned the hotel's name to anyone in Palermo, their response was and full of fond memories. "Would absolutely recommend this hotel!! As a female solo traveler that had never been to Palermo and was unfamiliar with the area, I was worried about booking the right hotel, but I had the best experience here and felt very safe. All the staff members were so friendly and helpful, and the hotel breakfast every morning is AMAZING (plus there is complimentary coffee, tea, and water offered in the room too). The location is also very central (only about a 15-minute walk from Palermo Centrale, so quite convenient for getting to/from the airport if taking the train), and it is located right around the corner from Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the main city streets with many options for dining and shopping. The hotel even provides a guide with some recommended restaurants and tourist activities, and most of the major tourist sites are also within about 20-minutes walking distance of this hotel! Would definitely stay here again, and I would encourage anyone considering this hotel to book a room here ASAP! :)"
