The view of the lake and the mountains beyond made the hot trek up the hill from Lenno worth it (and equally walking down the hill to Lenno brought us quickly to a lovely waterfront setting). "Property is beautiful! Originally rented for a party of four, when plans changed we kept the reservation for the two of us. Plenty of space. Nice furniture. Fabulous views! Nice outdoor space. The only drawback for the summertime was no air-conditioning, but that only came into play when getting ready for a black-tie event. Sleeping was comfortable as bedrooms have ceiling fans. Our only regret was not having the time to "hang out" at the property or have people over. Would most definitely rent...

"The host, Giovanni, was superb in communication and offering to make dinner reservations or take us on a boat ride. We wished we had more time to enjoy the area. But we only had the one day and the apartment was perfect for us. It may be a challenge if you don't have a car to get here. It was perfectly close for our visit to La Villa Balbianello. We had a hard time connecting to the wifi which is the only reason for not giving it 5 Stars."

"What a disaster. Just a few days before we were scheduled to arrive, we were notified by the property management company the owner sold the property and our reservation was cancelled. It took a few days of going back and forth with them and Expedia (during our limited spare time during our vacation) to arrange for a refund.
