"Exactly as listed, I’ve been coming to Avon yearly for decades, (anyone have a nice place for sale?) This property is right on 12 basically as soon as you get into town. Walking distance to the beach and Froggy Dogs. The pool table and arcade games on the first floor are a nice touch. Would recommend and stay again. "

The house is in need of updating, like the furniture, the door to the main bathroom is cracked and hard to close, the door to the outside shower needs work once you open it you can't close and lock the door, the garden hose in front of the house is broken in two, the vents in the bathrooms need to be cleaned so they work better, and the house should be updated to...

"We were just here for a little weekend get-away before Christmas. The house is as advertised. It feels like staying at your friends well-loved beach house. The view is beautiful, you are close to everything and there is plenty of room for kids (and the dog) to relax. While it has almost everything, there wasn’t a microwave, which was a bit of a surprise. The sandspurs are abundant, so shows outdoors are a must. We would definitely stay here again. "

"We can in town for the fishing tournament. And this was just the right fit for our little crew. We enjoyed being able to have a place where we could bring our puppy with us. The pool area was nice. "We had a very nice experience staying. The weather is cool (~80 degree). The house has big space. There are some tiny issues such as faucet for cleaning sand should be replaced. The toilet at top floor has water leak unless you push the flapper hard. We tried to use the bunk beds in the beginning but felt safe to use the sofa bed at top floor (the house has 4 bunk beds which can sleep 8 people). "We loved the layout, the pool, and the hot tub. The tvs did not work in any bedroom, the carpet and walls needed some TLC, and the kitchen has sparse utensils, dirty silverware. The hot tub seemed to not stay warm. Most sad was the TV situation. Not very relaxing in the evenings. Loved the decks and washer and dryer. The one bedroom has a hole in the corner wall, and looked as if it was black mold, my mother refused to sleep in there. All in all, love obx, will probably not stay in this home...
