Hotel was very quiet, it was the off season. My wife and I began to have electrical problems our 1st night. We were told when we checked in to use a small space heater since the room HVAC was not working. This space heater started tripping the circuit breakers for our room. It was very cold and we did not know this had happened. It was eventually fixed, but left not so good thoughts about the hotel.

The manager had a bad adetto, he give us a worst room ,with no heater ,and worst tv , tv sound had a problem, it was hard to hear , and room was't worm ,i got sick . I told him room was so cold he running to my door without give me hands up and nock the door to see what is the issue to him everything was normal, he doesn't know anything about customer service. Most room was empty, even he knows i am with the elder person, he didn't have that competition to give us the worm and better room, his problem was with us to getting the room with 3th party. Thats why he give us the hard time. I hope the owner of this hotel notice they need to put the people as a manager who care about the people.

Ocean view room. Beautiful and cozy. Perfectly clean and with everything you need. Unfortunately the heating was broken so the room was a bit cold even though there was a small fan. Great staff, Daniel was professional and kind. Beautiful hotel I recommend it

The bed was very comfortable, room was nice, and the person in the front desk was friendly and courteous to our accommodations. The only thing we did not like was that the walls are to thin that you can hear very clearly what people in next room to us are saying and especially when they bang things against the wall.

For a 100 year old plus Hotel pleasantly "Surfprized" Clean neat with a few modern touches ..Daniel ( spellin') front desk was very professional /helpful..Mural in room was a nice touch ... Vanity in bathroom on the cheap side ..Vintage Shower tile was cool..the "continental breakfast" was skimpy.. mini muffin's O.J . coffee.. No fruit no cereal etc. ...wish they had ocean view rooms with two beds..Overall would stay again..:)

For our first visit on Catalina Island, this property was perfectly located in the center of town on the waterfront. We had a room with a waterfront view that was perfect to wake up to every morning. It was a relatively short and enjoyable walk from the boat landing to the hotel. You can't beat the weather on the island. We were there in November and needed a break from the rain in Portland, Or. We would definitely look at this property again for our next visit.

The check in process was smooth. They allowed early checkin based on room availability. The cleanliness is top notch. Nice ocean view. Only drawback is the bathroom had no fan.

My husband and I came for a quick 2 night stay. The hotel is up stairs so if you need accessibility, this isn't the place for you. The room was clean and quiet and the view fabulous. Located right in the heart of the boardwalk with a 10 minute walk to the ferry shuttle. Great place to stay.
