Needed a place to crash before our flight and was interested in staying in a more lively area of Athens. We chose O&B for location, star rating and price. First, this is not a 4 star hotel. The amenities, aesthetics and service are just not there. It is however a decent 3 star hotel. Room was clean and had a great view from the balcony. The staff was pleasant and arranged for our cab to the airport. Our room was ready early which was a nice surprise. Although the area was great for nightlife, the street the hotel was on was unpleasant to say the least. I was a little shocked and I am a native New Yorker that is old enough to remember early 1990s NYC. The breakfast was meh. Again, not even close to 4-star standards. Room service was extremely limited.

Hotel did not honor what Expedia stated: "The property will charge you the full amount including all taxes and fees in the local currency EUR on arrival." In fact my credit card was charged on October 29 and November 10, while arrival date was November 14! I would consider this a breach of contract. Please investigate.

Excellent hotel and right in the heart of the city. So close to many attractions, dining options and shops. We could walk everywhere without having to book a taxi or Uber. Very clean and the breakfast was all that was needed. Cereal, toast, coffee, eggs, bacon and pastry. Would def book again.

Lovely hotel. Walking distance from loads of destinations. The room was large and had a terrace. We had an incredible view of the Acropolis.

We loved the location of O&B to all the historical sites in Athens. The air conditioning was broken when we checked in and was never fixed during our entire stay. We checked in multiple times with the staff who claimed they were working on the problem; however, it never was fixed. We were very disappointed in how the situation was handled. Other than that one problem the hotel was nice and clean.

The hotel was in a safe area close to shopping centres, restaurants and places of interest. The staff were generally helpful but on 2 mornings I had to ask for a hot drink to go with my breakfast. The breakfast buffet was limited, but satisfactory. The bed was comfortable but the sheets didn't fit properly so I had to keep tucking them in myself. My main problem was that the air conditioning unit was too noisy to leave on overnight and wasn't particularly effective in 30°heat.

This hotel has a great location for walking to the Acropolis. Breakfast was wonderful and in general the staff was polite and helpful. But, upon checkin, we were given a room with a double bed, and the first view when stepping out on the balcony was of ugly graffiti stained walls across the street. We had specifically reserved a room with 2 single beds and an Acropolis view. I wish they could have graciously explained that we had to look off to the side to see the Acropolis, which was fine. We had to wait while the cranky staff separated the bed into two — but then jammed them together angrily. Why make us feel uncomfortable when we just expected to get what we had reserved???
