"A very clean and beautiful place to stay in Cannon Beach."

"The staff at the front desk and house keeping were very good to us. The room was clean, the food in the breakfast room was nice. The room we had also had a Kitchenette in it. The beds were comfortable and the view from our room wasn't to bad for being a lower level unit. They do offer the items you need to make smores for a fee. At night they make free cookies and the coffee in the office is usually kept fresh. "

"We loved staying here. The room was impeccable. The claw foot tub was an added bonus. The views of the Columbia River were outstanding. Would definitely stay here again."

"The property is beautifully situated and landscaped. Our river view room had a gorgeous, unobstructed view of the Columbia River and a very nice deck to view it from. One word of caution- some rooms are much noisier than others based on proximity to the highway; we complained and were moved to another room. Other than that caveat, I would highly recommend the Astoria Crest Hotel!"

"The cyclone knocked out power to Astoria and surrounding communities. The manager, was wonderful and did us a huge favor by putting us in a first floor room with our slightly disabled dog. We had a room on the 4th floor, but with no power, there was no elevator. And our dog could not walk up the four flights of stairs. Jessi was at the front desk, and cool as a cucumber during the emergency. She helped guests, handed out flashlights, and put lights around the hallways and stairwells. Very professional all around. Kudos. As for the rooms... they we're both well appointed, clean, and very quiet. I didn't care that much for the pillows, and would have preferred something more firm, but the mattresses were great. The HVAC units worked flawlessly (except of course when there was no power). Breakfasts were good, though simple. All and all, a great three-night stay, in spite of the cyclone and power outage. We will definitely be coming back."
